Dr Scuria had helped me and my family I was a complete mess and about to want to end my life more I love life and I’m living it to the fullest I hate that he is retiring cuz there will never be anyone else that can fill his shoes

Dr Phillip Scurria began helping me as a 'Life Coach' in the '90's ... I thank God for him and his common sense approach to my chronic pain that I was HAVING to deal with as well as problems with my family. Dr Scurria is NOT a BOW-TIE wearing (sorry) psychiatrist but a doctor ANYONE can relate to. He listens, he agrees when patient MAY BE CORRECT IN WHAT THEY ARE DOING/SAYING...but you also must understand Dr Scurria will 'set you straight' if necessary. God Bless Dr Scurria for over 20+ years of his help, not sure I would have made it through so very much if he had not been involved in my healthcare, mental and physical.

He’s nice, I never have to wait long, he’s pretty personable. His admin assistant, Ms Terri is awesome! She’s super nice and runs that office like a champ. Even though they are both super busy because it’s just Dr Scurria and Ms Terri, they always get back to you the same day if you have an issue, or need a refill on meds.

Best Psychiatrist in Mississippi; and I know from years of experience as a patient from North to South, and areas in between. His bedside manner. Is outstanding, answers all questions in terms you can understand. Waiting time under 15 minutes. Been a patient of his for almost 20 years. He is number 1 in my personal opinion!

His receptionist, Terri is very nice, friendly & professional. Dr Scurria seems to genuinely listen to what I have to say. He will suggest a professional to see if he feels you need further care.
