Great overall experience
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Tasca and the entire team at PM&R. In my initial meeting to select a pain mgmt doctor, Dr. Tasca was professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all my questions and was just lovely to deal with. He recommended an epidural for two locations, S1 and L5, to hopefully get me relief from spinal stenosis. The procedure itself was not painful (just a bit uncomfortable at times) and I appreciated that he told me what to expect at each step so I knew to expect a pinch, cold, or whatever. I expected to be sore that evening or the next day, but I had nothing. No soreness at all. The epidural didn’t magically cure my issue, but it is offering some relief, so I consider it a success. Hope it lasts!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Tasca (Dr. Phil) for a while. He started off doing trigger injections on me and then Dr. Liss recommended epidurals. He has performed all of my epidural procedures. Dr. Phil is truly a doctor with ethics that now a days is hard to find. I know we still have a ways to go to get the resolution I am looking for. I am ok with that because I know he will never give up on me. He has the best bedside manner. Dr Phil understands my pain level yet still has the ability to make me laugh. He always follows up with me and asks how I have been feeling and he means it. He listens to what I have to say when I am being proactive in my own care, he happily offers his opinion. I know he is very busy yet he never makes me feel rushed or like he has no time for me. I like how kind he is to me and I se him treat his peers the same way. All of the interactions I have had and seen with him have been great. He’s my favorite Dr. with a needle. Now he’s stuck with me as a patient !!!

I went to Dr Tasca today for my 3rd lower back epidural in about 10 years. Each time he’s been the doctor to administer the procedure. I cannot say enough nice things about him. He is professional, courteous and has quick, steady hands so performing the epidural was done with as little pain as you can have having this procedure. He also has a sense of humor which I find important because it means he’s interested in the patient as a person and not just another name on a chart. I would happily go back (hopefully I won’t have to) to him for my next procedure.

Contacted PCP after a fall. He recommended Dr. Philip Tasca at PM&R. I checked your site. I was quite impressed and scheduled an initial consult...that was over 5 years ago. In addition to diagnosing and treating pain relating to injuries, he also performs epidurals and peripheral joint injections with ultrasound and x-ray guidance. Very lucky for me since he just performed an epidural last week and I am pain free. Also convenient, he works with physical and occupational therapists on site. If you had a different rating schedule -- he would be a 10+

I had been in agony with lower back pain and already seeing a pain management doc but then I was referred to Dr. Tasca by my Rhuematologist. He was the answer to my prayers. It took him less than 10 minutes to diagnose my problem. He is an EXCELLENT Dr. I have moved since and will make a long drive if I have to. He’s easy to talk to, cares about his patients and puts your mind at ease. I trust him completely.

Excellent Doctor!! I've had multiple visits with him. I've seen him for my knees, my shoulder, and my feet. I have had my knee aspirated many times and injections on multiple occasions, honestly when this doctor gives you an injection, you don't feel it! He aspirated my knee many times and I had zero pain, I never felt it! He is seriously amazing! Great doctor! Caring, attentive, listens to your concerns, very trustworthy. He knows the best way to eliminate your pain and get you back on the road to health. I highly recommend him.

I’ve been going to this Pain clinic for years. Dr Tasca has been the only doctor I have seen there. I have to go monthly for my check up so we’ve gotten to know each other beyond patient doctor. He always asks me how I’m doing. With a smile I answer his question. Then we drill deeper as to what is bothering me and he always has an answer and a smile. He’s even giving me his email address so I can send him a question that he can answer at his own time and I can avoid leaving that question with The staff. He shows concern about my medical condition above and beyond the area that he is responsible for. He is a very caring individual and he’s the main part of my hair team.

I have been seeing Dr.Tasca for about 3 years now as I suffer from RSD/CRPS. Dr.Tasca is always happy to give you as much time as you need during your visit. He is so easy to talk to and really does care about his patients. I travel often with my job, and sometimes have to get my medicine filled early as I am on the road and out of state a lot and Dr. Tasca always makes sure I am not without my medication and that I am as comfortable as I can be.
