Let me be clear, my spouse is the patient, and Dr. Zinn was the "on call" cardiologist when he had heart issues. But, having gone to a couple of appointments with my spouse to find out what the problem is, my perspective: Dr. Zinn is a technically excellent cardiologist, but all he cares about is the heart, and the buck. He does not check for interactions for other medical conditions, period -- my spouse's other doctors must simply adjust his other medications to cope. Dr. Zinn's patient "bedside manner" is horrid; he assumes that patients don't need too much information, or, he doesn't recall which patient he's dealing with and simply skips over information that I know I would have liked to have known. His office management can't bill accurately and don't really care -- all bills are sent, 1st, to debt collection. Office wait times are typically over an hour. Office phones don't do people. Waiting rooms are FULL. Trying to get spouse to find a new cardiologist.

My experience was simply horrible. He was almost OK until he asked for a review and got what he wanted then it went to less than acceptable levels. You wait for 2 hours only for him to rush you with a visit at times less than 4 minutes. I clocked him.. He is impatient, rude and frankly does not give a damn about your health. All he wants is your money. Screw him... My calcification numbers were off the charts waiting for a blockage to happen and Dr. Zinn never informed me of the severity. He should not be allowed to practice medicine, my plumber could do better than him. I find him to be dangerous to ones health as he does not give a damn. I would never recommend the creep.

As always, Dr Zinn was friendly, professional, and comprehensive. He discussed all aspects of my tests, along with my prognosis for possible surgery. As far as I'm concerned, he is the best cardiologist out there!

It was a follow on visit to help Dr. Zinn stay abreast of my general health. I had an episode of syncopy on 1 Sep 2019. Dr. Zinn visited me in the hospital, and I saw him again, about 10 days after the hospital visit. Another visit for followup assessment was made before year end, and then this visit was a 6 month followup. I have family and friends who are also patients of Dr. Zinn.

Dr. Zinn is the best cardiologist in San Antonio. He helped me not only with my heart but with my migraines as well. It took a visit to a cardiologist to give me answers over what 4 neurologists couldn’t figure out combined. Dr. Zinn actually cares about his patients and doesn’t push them off to someone else. The best.

I was referred by my Rhuematologist. Given the circumstances with quarantine in place, I felt very safe upon entering the building. All staff I encountered were professional and friendly. Dr. Zinn himself is very knowledgeable and efficient while still being caring. I was in and out in less than an hour. Overall, I would definitely recommend this practice and Dr. Zinn!

Dr. Zinn has been the most thorough and probing physician I have ever been treated under, whether it be for initial diagnosis or preventative care and follow up. While many are racing to get out the door of the exam room, he is sitting atttentatively in a chair pulled up next to you working down a comprehensive check list of questions and elaborating on what is working and what may work better.
