Amazing experience, Dr Bertram has GREAT bedside manners. I have never had a Dr come in and talk before a procedure and after & explain pictures of it.

Had 2 visits over the phone, gave medication that didn't work. Had 1 face to face that went poorly. Had me figured out the moment he saw me. Would not listen to my symptoms at all told me I was too heavy and get on a diet. I've been heavier in the past with no problems. I continually belch my food, drink etc. Eat sparingly, Visit took less then 5 minutes.

The VA o.k. my going to Dr Bertram who found precancerous cells and sent the results to the VA for urgent follow-up treat. Approx. 2 months later he calls me and asked how I was doing. As it was the VA had not scheduled me for treatment as of then. When I inform him of this he asked me to come by his office. I do, and he makes copies of his findings and writes on the front page in big red letters, "URGENT" and asked me to deliver the papers to my PCP, at the VA clinic immediately. I did. The next day i was scheduled for treatment.....Paul Parrish, Monroe, Tn

My first colonoscopy, at age 71, was done by Dr. Bertram today. My office visit with him prior to the procedure was very satisfactory. He explained exactly what would be done and left me with no doubts about his expertise. Today, the procedure was performed and I had a nice, but brief, visit from Dr. Bertram to explain the results to me after I awakened from the anesthesia. I would recommend him to anyone who needed this procedure performed.

Dr Bertram is the worst doctor ever! My mom was a patient of his for many many years and she loved him! He couldn't have cared less about her, never believed she was sick when she was, and worst of all she had to go to urgent care often because she couldn't get in to see him! Also, my aunt had a colonoscopy with him and he told her nothing was wrong see you in a few years. She continued to have problems and had another colonoscopy and he found a mass that was CANCER!!! He is bad stay away
