Horribly disrespectful, lazy, and difficult
Every month he made it extremely difficult to refill my prescriptions. I usually had to take multiple days off of work just to get him to refill the prescription. I need the medicine for work, and he could not be bothered to help. Worst doctor I have ever had without any doubt. Terrible experience.

Worst healthcare I’ve ever experienced. Run fast!
He is the most irresponsible healthcare provider imaginable. Does not respond to phone calls, ever. Getting any action by his staff takes multiple calls over several days to receive answer. Takes DAYS for him to call in a prescription (I’m now on a six day wait. I call every day, staff says they’ll let him know I’m still waiting…nothing.) Recommended brain MRI on 2/8. Prescription not completed until 2/13, and then only after MoBap radiology called him to schedule. When talking to staff, they promise to call back after talking to Dr., never happens. When I question staff on delays, they blame him, really just throw him under the bus. They must be terribly frustrated. I have several significant medical conditions. I’m switching PCPs before he kills me.

After the poor medical care I received from Brick last Thurs.(Jan. 6th) I returned to the hospital. Due to previously being victimized by his lies I no longer wanted his services, told I had no choice. Again, I was admitted due to digestive complications/an infection. The nurses decided to rest my bowels due to consistent painful symptoms after anything by mouth. Over the weekend the pain became excruciating. I’m grateful for Brick’s colleague, who was on-call over the weekend-he adequately treated my pain & supported the bowel rest. On Monday, Brick requested that I attempt food & medication to determine if I should be discharged on Tues. for an IVIG infusion. In evening I attempted food as he requested. The excruciating pain returned, & I developed diarrhea. In the morning my nurse begged Brick to adequately treat the excruciating pain caused by attempting his care plan. Brick refused, & proceeded with the discharge. Currently I’m at home suffering.

Dr. Brick was very impatient. Not a good bedside matter at all. I'm aware that hr may by busy due to Covid etc. but it doesn't matter. Each patient is important. I would NOT recommend him at all.

Dr Brick is utterly useless. If you do not get the very first or second appointment of the day, you can expect to wait an hour or more because he had no concept of time management. I will never go back to this doctor or this physician's group again.

Impossible to get a hold of. I needed to reschedule an appointment due to my infant being sick and I called and had to leave two VM's. When I scheduled another appointment they failed to inform me that he dismissed me as a patient just because of ONE cancellation. I drove 30 minutes there and put my new born baby at risk because there is a PANDEMIC occurring, only to be told he wouldnt see me anymore. Very unprofessional. When I did see him he made unprofessional comments that made me uncomfortable. He couldn't care less about his patients.

I have received 3 prescriptions from Dr. Brick and 2 of them were messed up and had to be corrected. One time I called to have the prescription corrected, I spoke to his nurse, she said she would check with Dr. Brick and call me back, it took 5 days before I received the call back.

Over the last two years, I have had to call Dr. Brick repeatedly to get prescriptions filled properly. He and his office staff rarely were able to call in a prescription to the agreed upon pharmacy with the correct dosage and sometimes the correct medication without mistakes that Inhad to take time to correct. He cannot be taken seriously as an Internist as he is obese and seriously lacking in knowledge regarding nutrition. He seems more interested in chit chatting that addressing medical needs.

I have a sister with a rare autoimmune disease. Not only was he spot on in his initial diagnosis but it took specialists two years of unnecessary testing to come to the same conclusion. Phillip Brick was born to be a doctor.

If you are looking for a Doctor who really listens and cares, may I suggest shopping somewhere else.the staff at Dr.Bricks office is incompetent. They told me they sent a order for a stress test and my insurance company told me they never received a order or phone call...then they played pass the back ! Both nurses blamed eachother and then lied to my face, finally it was scheduled and then cancelled for a third time! There are really great Doctors and staff out there just not this one...
