Dr. Phillip Burk, MD

Cares about his patients. Diagnoses very well, excellent staff make sign in a positive and fun experience, fast pain free lab draws. Office is a fine user of MyChart which provides access to lab test results as well as doctor's comments and guidance.

Regarding front desk staff: Blood draws are by appointment only now. However, when I arrived - 20 minutes early - I was told that there was nobody would be there until an hour after my appointment time. Had they called me the day before to tell me about the delay for my appointment, I would have adjusted my day to accommodate. I better not get charged for an appointment they screwed up.This was my first time seeing Dr. Burk and had always seen his assistant in the past, but had overheard in the past interacting with his staff, talking about other patients. I have to say I was a bit put-off by his manner and thought maybe he was just talking about a difficult patient. My interaction with him is very disappointing. He was condescending and didn't want to have a conversation about my concerns, and seemed only interested in talking down to me. As inconvenient as it will be, I think I will go elsewhere.

Won’t be back due to the lack of care I received last week.

Dr Burke has been my Primary Care physician for 21 years. He provides a much need service to the community of Granite Falls. With the only other doctor in town retiring this year his services will be needed more so. He is a very caring individual who is concern with the health and welfare of his patents. It is demonstrated in the care he gives all who he sees at his office. He is professional in his demeaner yet still personable and friendly in his treatment of his patents. In the years that I have been coming to his clinic I have seen a lot of turnovers in his staff. Everyone that I have had the pleasure of interacting with have had the same high standards that he himself has. You will not go wrong having him as your Primary Care doctor.

This is a very professional yet kind and compassionate doctor's office. The receptionist was very kind in answering my questions. Sheila, Dr. Burk's nurse, is always kind and patient with me. Dr. Burk is always professional yet he has a way of showing that he cares about me and my health. I am 82 and all of these things really matter to me.

Always Fantastic! Dr. Burk is knowledgeable, experienced and shares his intelligence in a humorous manner! Always spot on! If he doubts anything he will make sure you see a Specialist! His visits are always professional and so fun! He has a great sense of humor! Thanks Again!

Excellent Dr and very through all in his care. Appts are easy to get the same week usually and he takes the time to get to the bottom of what is going on. Involves the patient in the care options as well.

Excellent experience. Took time to review test results in detail. Listened to my concerns and worked together on a treatment plan. Very positive and professional.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Burk for several years. He is a no nonsense doctor that has helped me in so many ways that I could write about for pages and pages. I like the fact that the office is small and there aren’t 20 doctors, it reminds me of doctors from when I was a kid one office with staff that know and remember you and your not lost in the shuffle.

The entire staff has been wonderful’

Dr. Burk is straight, to the point and very thorough. He cares about his patients. On a recent visit to his office, there was an incident where another patient was in an exam room and was yelling obscenities. Dr Burk and his staff handled the matter swiftly and professionally. Shortly after I left Dr Burk’s office, I received a phone call from him personally, checking to make sure I was ok, not too upset and to let me know his office was looking after the welfare of this other patient.

The most personable MD I have ever known. I typically don't like doctors visits Dr. Burke makes the experience less objectionable.

I have been a patient of Dr. Burk since 1999- In all honesty, I did work for him for approximately 5 years or so. I saw many patients come in and proclaim to me that he was the most detailed and informative Dr they had ever spent time with..... He has seen 10 of my family members over the past 20 or so years., EVEN AFTER they saw multiple specialists who could not diagnose their issues...He was able to not only diagnose but also Save TWO ((2) of my family lives . My Dad,saw several specialist...Only Dr Burk...was able to show in detail his REAL problem, that many other Dr's could not ascertain. Dr Burk saved My Mother in Laws life..(From Sepsis) by giving her a timely and appropriate diagnosis and making arrangements for her care. Most recently my own brother saw Dr Burk, after seeing 3 other back specialist, and was happy to find resolution and understanding of his back issues, my brother couldn't say enough praise for this Dr. We highly recommend Dr Burk to any person.

Listens and is attentive to questions and needs. Can provide several services from office. (Ie: xrays, lab tests, etc.) Responds to mychart inquiries in timely manner.

I had a VERY THOROUGH phone appointment with Dr Burk. He explained the test results clearly and so that I could understand that everything was alright. I trust in him completely that he KNOWS what he’s telling me and that he cares about his patients !!!!! Thank you Dr. Burk !!!!!

Upon completion of my check up, I promptly headed to the pharmacy to fill my prescription. The pharmacy told me that they would need authorization to fill the prescription and they would contact the clinic. I also phoned the clinic and was curtly informed that they were working on it and it could take up to 72 hours. 72 hours later authorization was not obtained. I called the clinic again and left a message. The clinic couldn't be bothered to return my call. I do not recommend this clinic. I find them to be shockingly unprofessional and inept.

Dr.Burk is a VERY CARING Dr. and treats whatever problems I have VERY THOROUGHLY !!!! I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND him as a GREAT DR !!!!!
