Office staff is inept
Dr. Cosentino is a thorough, caring doctor who will spend time with you. His office staff is inept and one person in particular is inept and rude. I have tried to ignore this for a long time. I choose not to anymore. It’s unfortunate. Expect a very long wait time as appointments are not spaced out well enough.

I just went to see this Doctor for the first time. The women in the front are nice. There was no one there. He took a patience in before me. She had gotten there after me. I was waiting over an hour. I was about to leave. They said he was coming out . I went in he is nice very thorough I'm not use to that. Staten Island doctors don't take over an hour. I was there so long I needed water and I was hungry. The women there did give me a bottle of water. I was lightheaded.

If you're looking for what I called the "fast-food-style" medical attention with a 1 second "Hello, how ya doing", 2 minute "Tell me how you feel and I'll pretend to listen", and the "Yeah, yeah, take this medicine that big pharma is paying me to push" then Dr. Cosentino is NOT for you. He actually listened, asked questions, and helped ME determine the best form of treatment based on our conversation. He understands that at the end of the day we're all just people seeking answers.

He has the worst staff I've ever encountered. They are forgetful, don't follow-up as the doctor request, and don't return phone calls. As a result of this experience, I am seeking another doctor. You can wait up to two hours before you see Dr. Cosentino. I've been present at times when patients waiting have walked out. I feel bad for the doctor that he has an inept staff. It is difficult for me to recommend others due to long waiting periods (2 hrs plus) before being seen by the doctor.

Doctor Consentino He is the most inept doctor I have ever encountered. Three hour waiting time and the staff is terrible. Wife and an appointment and I accompanied her and asked if he could take my blood pressure; he declined. What is so ironic is he is my primary and still stated I must make an appointment. Staff takes 2 hour lunches and never returns calls. I could go on, he is just terrible. The waiting time in the hospital emergency ward is faster.
