Dr Melendez is the best doctor in Bakersfield. He delivered both my boys . And soon to be delivering my first baby girl . He is amazing !

Dr. Phillip Melendez is a rare Physician in this generation. He has a true passion for the well being and safety of his patients. I am 79 years of age with serious health issues and was requesting surgery clearance. He evaluated my overall issues and age very carefully and gave me his very sincere, and professional opinion. He did not advise surgery for me without trying an alternative medical device which so far is working fine. I have given this a lot of thought and I know he is right. He is the Surgeon taking the risk. And I feel my life and the risk factors are very important to him. I do have a narrow window of clearance and wellness to do the surgery. And the risk is medium to high. I am very impressed with his judgment. And how he obviously cares about his patients with his whole heart and soul. A Physician with high Standards of Professionalism. His entire Staff is very caring and professional as well..I am very grateful!

Best doctor ever ... he took very good care of me during my pregnancy and deliver my baby on July 12,2020 via c-section with no complications . Wait time is a bit long but it’s all worth it .He’s staff is amazing and helpful .thank you dr for delivering my first baby during this pandemic .and hopefully my future ones also . I have been seeing Dr Melendez for about 15 yrs now. He always explains everything to me, he asks me if I have any questions and he always says are you sure if I tell him no. Dr Melendez has done 2 surgery's for me and I trust him with my life. He has also delivered 3 of my grand children and did an excellent job. He was always just in time for my daughter. Dr Melendez is highly respected by myself and my daughter

Dr. Melendez is very attentive! He cares for each patient as if they are his own family. Each visit I have had to wait a little past my appointment time, but it's well worth the wait. I absolutely love him and would not let anyone else deliver my children! Strongly recommend him!!

He was recommended by two other friends. I couldn't have made a better choice. He was absolutely amazing and super attentive. Showed concern for my well being. Would love for him to be oby-gym with my next baby but I live in LA now and have a different insurance.
