Dr. Phuong-Lynh Ta, MD

Dr. Ta is rude and appathetic. She DOES NOTHING. She will not even treat a simple earache. In the 2+ years that I have been in her care, she has not done one breast exam, one pap smear or one rectal exam. In fact, SHE HAS NEVER TOUCHED ME. Every time I have an issue, I have to GO TO HER OFFICE, TO NOT BE SERVED OR TOUCHED, then I AM REFERRED to some specialist. This may be the new way of medicine, but it is absolutely unacceptable and ineffective. Dr. Ta is the least personable, most insipid, least effective "physician" I have ever met. Recently, I ran out of a critical medicine for my heart. TWICE her office DENIED the REFILL for NO REASON AT ALL. I missed no appointments, and my next one is is over a month away. The entire staff at Cornerstone Group appears to work together to do as little as possible at all times. They must be so afraid of lawsuits that they treat you as if you are ignorant and malevalent - and subsequently provide NO SERVICES for their fees paid.

Dr Ta has been my physician for 6 years and it mazes me as I look back how she is far from thorough. She does give me the numbers from blood work but only something that states "in normal range". After requesting specifics of blood work I found some critical areas are not in "normal range". Staff was very slow to follow up on necessary things. Things seem to have declined through the years. There are a couple of things in her favor and that is it's easy to get an appointment and there is very little delay in seeing her.

Very capable dr with great treatment skills. Very kind too. I have great confidence in her. But sure your PCP knows all your drug allergies and drug intolerances. And foods that cause big problems.

I came in for a flu shot like many of us do. I was also dealing with something else, Dr Ta immediately said let's have a look. She addressed two problems in 20 min. The care she gives to her patients is far better than what I have ever seen. When I call or come in I am always treated as if I were family. That's why I chose her as my PCP. She truly cares about the people,that trust her to take care of them.
