i'M SELF PAY NO INSURANCE Dr BRUNSCHWIG CHARGES MERCILESSLY FOR HIS TIMESHORT CONSULTS HUGE FEES , I did not get a sense of sincerity ,felt rushed and way overcharged , Staff is okay ,but this office looks like a well oiled money making machine,

Inept medical advice and negligence. A dear family member has been treated by Brunschwig for awhile now. As her primary doctor, he is aware she has an osteoporosis diagnosis, yet when she complained of severe back pain he referred her to a chiropractor. Did not suggest Xrays, or outside treatment. Soon she was much worse and bed bound for 7 days (had bed sores, was not able to get up to go the the bathroom etc.) His RN had a phone consult and dissuaded her from seeking emergency medical treatment, saying "you are talking and breathing, you are conscious so they wont take you to the hospital." She trusted this advice and remained bed bound. When she finally did go after nearly falling out of the bed, they found out she had 4 broken verebtraes.. which should have been assumed to check for knowing his client has Osteoporosis!! I am absolutely horrified that he didnt have the basic knowledge to get Xrays done immediately and refer to a hospital. I definitely do not reccomend him.

I wish I'd known the State of Colorado had taken disciplinary action against Dr. Brunschwig permanently restricting his ability to prescribe medications as well as requiring him to take the ProBE Professional/Problem Based Ethics Program course. Not knowing about these concerns, I sought his integrative medical perspective for my medical challenges. My impression was his integrative approach involved listening like he understood my particular issues and then ordering a standard battery of expensive tests not tailored to my concerns. He seemed narcissistic and trying to work an unprofessional charming angle which I did not find comfortable.

I have seen Pierre for over ten years and am very happy with his service. He is professional, smart and always able to offer both a holistic and western perspective. I highly recommend him and this practice!

I think contrary to the last comment that Dr Brunschwig altho you may think he's not listening is in deep thought, like most integrated, especially to do with homeopathy. He saw my husband last week and altho he's expensive he spent at least an hour going over his condition. Most Dr's have you in and out in 10 mins or less and only address one issue. He looked at all of the issues my husband has and came up with answers to problems and the way to solve them. We're ecstatic.

While I can recommend Deb Breakell at Helios, I cannot recommend Dr. Brunschwig. He lacks the very basic skill of first LISTENING to his patient, nor did he review the history form for the appt, meaning he missed obvious, very important connected problems; I had to point out his oversight. Instead, jumps straight into his standard treatment plan for a particular ailment, regardless of whether best for individual. Expect high cost of visit to equate with better clinical skills; it does NOT here.
