I came into the ER with my ankle completely shattered and dislocated, and Dr. Durand took amazing care of me with minimal pain and a great bedside manner from the start. I’m now on the path for a complete recovery, and several other surgeons (from when I had to see someone when I was out-of-state) complimented Dr. Durand’s minimalist and clean surgery technique. Many thanks to Dr. Durand and his team! If you ever have a traumatic injury, I hope you get Dr. Durand as your surgeon.

I went to Los Robles Hospital because I had crashed on my mountain bike. Dr. Durand met with me right after I saw the emergency room doctor. suggested that surgery would be needed after getting a CAT scan. From the beginning to the end Dr. Durand was amazing and really helped keep my mind at ease. Thank you

Los Robles Hospital recommended Dr Durand for a severe case of Calcific Tendinitis I'm experiencing. I went today and was extremely pleased. The office was clean and efficient and Dr Durand himself was charming, friendly, funny, obviously extremely smart and explained everything in very simple and easy to understand terms. You feel like he's an old friend the minute you begin a conversation. I'm delighted to have met him and will keep him as my Orthopedist. Unfortunately, he only specializes in Sports surgery...so Shoulders and knees etc... although he could still treat other areas, he suggested if it came to surgery, he would refer to a specialist in that particular area of expertise. But my wife and I enjoyed him and had a good laugh. He seems the consummate Professional!

I adore Dr. Durand. From my first moment meeting him he immediately put me at ease and began to quiet my fear and anxiety. I was in pain and feeling rather desperate. He has consistently handled me with compassion, reassurance and most of all, exemplary expertise. He defers to the least invasive treatment until or unless such an approach does not suffice. He will not stop until a satisfactory path has been agreed upon even when it means a doctor with a different expertise must become involved.

Dr. Durand, Jr. was very helpful in my recent meniscus surgery. He listened to my symptoms carefully and provide excellent advice and insight. He clearly covered my options and did not "push" me to have surgery, but left the choice up to me. As an informed healthcare consumer, I very much appreciated his open and friendly bedside manner. His staff were all very competent/friendly. My appointments were always on time and I would recommend Dr. Durand to anyone in need of a great orthopedic Dr
