Best Dr in town!

Dr. Semrani is knowledgeable, professional, and attentive to patients' needs providing diagnosis and treatment based on long term experience in his field of Family Medicine. He is trustworthy, polite and exhibits a high degree of empathy to listen and explain options for patient care. He provides referrals for advanced care when needed. His office staff is professional and responsive. Appointments are scheduled so that there is a minimum of wait time. Nice bedside manner.

Not the place to go when you are sick! Ok perhaps 15 years ago Dr. Semrani may have been up to date on exam equipment and medical procedures and latest drugs, but I have serious doubts much has been updated in all those areas. Experienced the same as others with him not cooperating with what specialists HE refers you do prescribes and be prepared to spend months seeing specialists (hard to get appointments) and all your deductible for what I feel ( as well as other doctors) were unnecessary tests. Better off going to a Doc in the Box !

This doctor is stuck in the stone age of medicine. Outdated equipment, not up to date on many current medicines or treatments. Besides the exam rooms need a hose down with bleach to decontaminate all the ancient equipment. And, be prepared to get referred to several specialists and pay thousands for tests if you need anything other than a basic diagnosis. Makes me wonder if they make Physicians do any Continued Education to keep a current license!!!

I write this for patients being treated for a similar or related condition so they could seek a second opinion. Those considering a new physician could also benefit from it. If you are being treated for blood pressure by Dr. Semrani and are on clonidine as a solution as was my situation, please seek help from another physician immediately. Your blood pressure will never be consistent but erratic and you will be worried throughout. Please, do not discontinue clonidine. Seek help now.

I couldn’t have been more fortunate to find such a wonderful GP! The first and only doctor who would truly listen, emphasize and try to sort any health conditions. Absolutely love doctor Semrani for his knowledge, professionalism and outstanding sense of humor. I simply cannot say enough about the level of care & compassion I received. Dr. Semrani.

Went in not expecting much since I had read a negative review but plenty of good ones. However he is awesome and I love that guy. He was thorough, friendly, professional, and answered all my questions. He is knowledgeable and gave me a diagnosis on a very serious matter involving my heart and blood pressure that had me worried and he was able to ease my concerns and explain why it was probably heartburn BUT he was following up with further tests and consultation. The staff there is helpful.

I was very pleased that they gave me an appointment for the following morning. Staff very kind and helpful. Gave me the referrals that I needed. Negatives: I had to wait forever before he saw me. The appointment took 2 hours. Nnd his white coat needs to be laundered,

This Dr. does does not work with his patients to get the care they need. Dr. Semrani refuses to file the proper paperwork so that patient can have their medications paid for by the insurance companies. He refuses to answer questions about new medications. He does not seem to listen or care about his patients. He does not fallow up with blood work results or any other exams he orders. Do not waist your time with a physician who is not willing to work with his patient's insurance.

I asked for a same-day appointment due to SEVERE asthma and waited more than two hours to see the doctor, meanwhile wheezing and puffing on Proair 40x in the lobby. Did Semrani intentionally tried to "punish" me for having an asthma attack or was too asinine/incompetent to recognize what an attack looks like? The office is NOT equipped with a standard nebulizer; the nurses told me to call an ambulance b/c the doctor was unavailable at the time HE SCHEDULED with me. Wait: 2 hours for 4 min visit

He diagnosed shingles and started treatment before I had any skin issues. Because of he quick diagnoses I only had one blister to appear!
