Dr. Pinjai Ravichander is, in my opinion, the finest doctor who has ever cared for me. He has been my oncologist for over 20 years. I can tell you that he is kind, intelligent, compassionate, cares very deeply for his patients, and always “goes the extra mile”. His entire office staff is the same way. They also have been with him for years. I give him my highest rating and recommendation.

My father came to visit from California for a month and needed to continue treatments while here. I was recommended to Dr. Ravichandler. I can not begin to tell you what a positive experience we had with Dr Ravi and his staff. Every single person in this office is a pleasure to work with. My parents were more impressed with the care they received from Dr Ravi then their Hematologist in California. He carefully explained Dad's disease to him with such care and detail that the family could understand it. He took the time to sit and talk to him and learn about him as a person. He showed such genuine care for my father and his quality of life, even knowing he wouldn't be a long term patient because he didn't live here. I would recommend Dr. Ravi to anyone needing his services. Getting a cancer diagnosis is shocking enough. Dr. Ravi was so gentle with me from the beginning. He explained his plan, and he explained it realistically but encouragingly. Getting a second opinion from the Cancer Institute, I felt I was treated very impersonally from the moment I entered the building. I have been a patient of doctor Ravichander for several years. He truly cares about his patients and even offered to be with me during my surgery even though he was not preforming the surgery.

My husband has to get blood drawn weekly for a genetic condition. He asked Dr. Ravichander if he could have this done for free at The Blood Connection; however, Dr. Ravichander said that was not possible. My husband paid thousands of dollars to Eastside Hematology/Oncology to have his blood drawn before switching physicians and finding out that he could have this done for free at The Blood Connection. This is very unethical. I would never recommend Dr. Ravichander after this experience.
