DO NOT TRUST HIS DIAGNOSIS
He does not explain his reasoning, refuses to help you understand. He belittles you and speaks in a very condescending manor. He acted shocked when I said I would be going for a second opinion. Without going into details, I'll say this, I am forever grateful for the second opinion, because his treatment was WRONG and I was on medication for 4 months when it was never needed!

Dr. Fattahi Has Very Soothing Approach
Dr. Fattahi has a very soothing approach. When I first went to him, my hands and wrists were hurting so bad I had to quit washing dishes and other household chores because I could barely stand to lift anything. During his first visit, he explained that I would need to take a Nerve Compression Test during a second visit. Until then, I was to wear Arm Guards for my arms, hands and wrists. A few weeks later, the Test showed normal nerve activity. We had caught the issue early enough and the Arm Guards had decreased the Nerve Compression. I would not need any surgery but would need to keep using the Arm Guards every night. Should the pain come back, I am to return to see Dr. Fattahi. You can bet I follow his instructions to the letter! I highly recommend Dr. Fattahi as a highly professional, knowledgeable and very soothing doctor.

Dumbfounded
I had been suffering from an undiagnosed autoimmune disease at the time about six years. I seen Dr. Fatahi because of symptoms that were most concerning to me were my neurological issues. I had been having paralysis, shaking fits, vision problems, balance, dizziness, brain fog, severe pain and pressure on my head. He did an mri of my brain and my cervical spine. It showed some non specific white matter that was minor. Buldging discs that were putting pressure on my spinal cord and slight retrolothesis in my neck. He suggested physical therapy. I was speechless. No more investigating why I was having these neurological issues. Physical therapy are you kidding me! When I was looking like I was in shock and kept asking questions the assistant looked at me like I was crazy, defending him, saying Dr. Fatahi is a good Dr. and trying to shame me was questioning this recommendation. I was so confused and left defeated. This was 2019. I this year 4 yrs. later was diagnosed with spondylitis.

The BEST doctor!!!
I think Dr Fattahi is one of the best doctors I have ever dealt with. He is conscientious, very knowledgeable, and has helped me tremendously. He is one of the very few doctors I know that will go above and beyond the call to help his patients. I would highly highly highly recommend him!

My mother went to him and he's only made her health worse! One of the worst doctors to practice in CT, DO NOT send your family members. The work that him and the PAs do is very unethical....

When I first met Dr. Fattahi I thought I had finally found the right neurologist. Unfortunately since every time I go in for my annual visit and I only get to speak with the APRN or PA I have to look for another neurologist. It is sad that he cannot make any effort to meet with his patients at least once at year. The one start is because it was the only option to leave a review.

Right from the first visit with Dr. Fattahi I had complete faith that we would finally have a diagnosis and a plan. He sensed our urgency and concerns and made sure that things proceeded quickly. He showed concern and compassion. He took time to explain things and answered our questions. Truly amazing.

I have NEVER met Dr. Fattahi. Her amazing PA takes care of me instead. This office is tough to reach, they shut off their phones at 4 even thoigh office hours are until 5. Their timeliness in returning requested paperwork is mediocore at best. Email communication is not allowed for third party insurance purposes so faxing or mailing is the only option, they also charge $15.00 per page of forms filled out up to $30.00. Overall Dr. Fattahi is basically non existent in treatment and office stinks.
