Helped me survive nonischemic LV Cardiomyopathy
Helped me survive nonischemic LV Cardiomyopathy for nearly 20 years. Even with a low EF, with lifestyle changes, and modern meds I have survived thanks to Dr Agarwal and the other doctors.

If you want a doctor to coddle you like you're a child and tell you mainly what you want to hear, find another doctor. If you want a doctor to treat you like an adult and tell you the truth without candy-coating it and extend your life in the process, then I highly recommend Dr. Agarwal. She is passionate about her patient's health and many times that may comes across as harshness. But if you look and listen you will see under the no-nonsense manner is a highly experienced and compassionate doctor. She was my Mom's cardiologist for almost 15 years until she passed away at 88. That was 15 years AFTER two specialists in a Ft Worth hospital told me to take her home and "spend her last weeks with her". I got to spend her last 748 weeks with her in no small part because I decided to take her to Dr. Agarwal! After I saw what she did for Mom, I started going to her myself and she was able to diagnose a problem that we now see would have cost me my life 3 years ago. Results don't lie.

If I could give zero stars, I would! After several years under her care, I had to reschedule 2 appointments both documented by my primary doctor, one flu and one bronchitis. I took the first available appointments and one week before my appointment, the office manager called to inform me that Dr. Agarwal would not see me, and that I would need to find a new cardiologist. When I objected, he became extremely rude. I was left without necessary blood pressure medications and no appointment.

Very disappointed in office staff. Pretty much told me if I was not happy to go to another cardiologist. Unwilling to call insurance company to authorize medication that doctor prescribed. Very disappointing!

Dr Agarwal is a no nonsense doctor. She diagnosed my condition and saved my life. She tried medications on me until she found the ones that worked for me. I recommend her to anyone that is in need of a caring, up front doctor. C. Nicholson

Dr Agarwal is a caring and down to earth doctor. She listened to my concerns with respect and an open mind. My symptoms would only show up occasionally, but she persevered until we were able to uncover the causes. I love how she explains things clearly. Her office staff is efficient as well. Highly recommend her.

She is a no nonsense doctor, and doesn't mince words. If you need to lose weight or quit smoking, she'll tell you so. But that's her job, and I appreciate straight-forwardness. I was having some problems and my family doctor referred me here. She was thorough and explained the results of all of my tests before I left that day. She seems like she's in a hurry, but I didn't feel rushed. She answered all my questions to my satisfaction and communicated the results to my doctor promptly. Thx!
