Best Anesthesiologist Ever!
What I loved most about my experience with Dr. Patil was that they literally rushed up to L&D to administer my epidural. I’ve had 3 children and never experienced an Anesthesiologist rush up to relieve my pain. They were kind and funny and made the experience less scary! I also didn’t have any issues with the epidural and it worked really well. So grateful for Dr. Patil!

Never will I recommend
He gave me so many drugs for a simple cataract surgery that I had to be wheeled out of the surgery center …..he must have any issue. I hope if I ever need surgery again I don’t see him as my anesthesiologist bc if I do I will cancel my surgery if they don’t offer someone else. Patient should come first and ahn has been notified of him for over yr. And don’t remove him from their staff.

One of the best doctor's I've ever seen
I was going in for surgery, and I was extremely anxious because of past trauma. Dr Patil was the only one who got me out of my anxious misery with their upbeat and friendly attitude. They treated me with respect and compassion. I also use they-them pronouns, and I felt so seen and cared during my stay because of them. I've had a lot of negative experiences with medical 'professionals' who dismissed my identity and my needs. Dr Patil not only provided me exceptional care, but they also made sure that I came out of the anesthetic in a safe and calm way, which was a big issue during previous procedures. I can't express how truly grateful I am for their care and my experience with them. What could've easily been a very bad, negative, stressful day, turned out to be smooth and successful. All thanks to Dr Patil. If only they could be my doc for all surgeries!!

Compassionate, Grounded, and Truly Exceptional
Dr. Patil is one of the most compassionate and grounded providers I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. We first met outside of a medical setting, and over time I’ve come to deeply admire their professionalism, warmth, and integrity. When I unexpectedly needed an emergency C-section, Dr. Patil just so happened to be working—something I truly believe was fate. They didn’t just administer my epidural and move on. They stayed with me through the entire experience, talking me through everything, sharing stories from their trip, and doing everything they could to ease both my anxiety and my husband’s. Their presence made what could’ve been a traumatic day something I now look back on with comfort and peace.Dr. Patil has an incredibly calming presence, and their ability to make you feel safe and seen in vulnerable moments is rare. I cannot recommend them enough, not just for their medical expertise, but for the genuine humanity they bring to their care.

Totally unprofessional
How would I file a hospital complaint? When I had my son and was receiving my epidural, we got Dr. Patel. He walked in and let us know he went by certain pronouns. Ok, whatever. But then in the MIDDLE of starting the epidural, my nurse that was helping me from the front said 'he' he then stopped what he was doing on my back and said 'do you have a minute to talk?' My nurse said 'I'm sorry, I corrected myself, can this wait?' a few seconds later he went back to inserting the needle. Needless to say...the nurse, my husband, and myself were all shocked that he literally interrupted a dangerous medical procedure to 'have a talk' about using a wrong word. Completely unprofessional. Not sure how to go about getting this back to the hospital so he doesn't end up messing an epidural up on the next woman.
