Dr. Prabhavathi Gude, MD

This 'psychiatrist' was in charge of an adolescent psych ward that I was placed in as a teenager, and to put it lightly, was incredibly unhelpful in my healing process. I'm shocked she's still practicing. I'm not sure how someone with no compassion or kindness was hired to work with young people, but her attitude was that people should be controlled and medicated, not listened to or understood. She diagnosed me with things I didn't have, and avoided addressing the actual issue, which was that I had major anxiety from growing up with a parent who was Bi-Polar. I was very fortunate to find therapists later in my adult life that actually want to help people and know what they're doing. Zero stars.

very arrogant,condescending and unprofessional demeanor. Too quick to prescribe strong medications without diagnosis. This person has no credibility and would say anything to her patients to satisfy her ego and arrogance. Extremely arrogant with no compassion towards other human beings. Extremely insensitive to human emotions and sentiments. Blows her own trumpet about her education and her field of practice when she clearly displays incompetency in psychiatry. Avoid her like a plague!!! horror!
