Pays extreme attention to details, explains everything very well. Takes extra time and care to explain very complicated things in layman's terms. Very insightful, reads patients well, knows when his patient isn't following instructions very well, (if at all!). Makes adjustments to medications, and emergency appointments, as needed. Cares intensely about good heart health!

As the wife of Dr Gupta's patient I can not have asked for a better physician. During an extremely difficult time Dr Gupta displayed extreme professionalism, compassion and care. His expertise in cardiac care saved my husbands life and my sanity. His ability to explain procedures, medications and continuing care allowed both of us to remain focused on the healing process following cardiac arrest. Truly a blessing to know & work with during a life & death situation.

Dr. Gupta has been an excellent doctor. He goes over everything with me and makes sure I understand test results then discusses what I have to do. Last year he noticed a problem, scheduled me for a heart cath at Dubois Regional, found major problems with the left side of my heart and arranged immediately for further procedures and evaluations with doctors at UPMC Presbyterian. Within two weeks I had open heart surgery. On last office visit after echo all heart function are normal, Thank You !!!

I had a situation with Dr. Gupta about 2 years ago. My husband and daughter and myself felt he was a very kind and caring person. Little did I know I would be taking my husband in. to the ER a few weeks ago. We felt very fortunate that Dr. Gupta was in the hospital doing another procedure. He explain everything he was going to do. He puts you at ease and makes you feel very confident. God put him in the right place at the right time.

I moved to DuBois from Texas in 2014. I have a history of Heart problems, including having had open heart surgery at the age of 50 in Texas. When I started having heart related issues after my move to DuBois, I was referred to Dr. Gupta. He has addressed my problems in a very compassionate and attentive way and I feel very comfortable with the treatment and procedures he has provided. He has always been very responsive to my concerns and feel that I have been treated very well.

Dr Gupta is a very caring, most compassionate and excellent cardiologist. He gave me his undivided attention and spent time to answer any questions and explained my test results in such a way to put my mind to ease. I called and left a message and he personally called me back and had his office make arrangements for me to see him the following morning. I would definitely see him again and recommend my family and friends

I needed to see a cardiologist and made an appointment with Dr. Gupta. He is a very thorough and knowledgeable doctor. He took the time to explain tests results and the procedures I had, and answered all my questions. He has a very good bedside manner, and was truly concerned about my health. I would recommend him to anyone needing a good cardiologist.

Had a favorable experience with him on my initial visit. Subsequent appointments were scheduled, however, with 2nd tier medical providers (NP/ PA). Will not go back under this circumstance.
