Shady Business Practices
Besides that you always wait well over an hour, her office told me it took my insurance. Then her office called and said she couldn't see me for a follow up but her assistant would and assured me this would still be covered under my insurance. It was not and then Dr. Moorthy sent me a bill. I tried to fight it but even though their office ADMITTED it was their mistake they said I had to pay the bill even though I already did a $40 co pay. Horrendous and would never recommend this doctor's office.

This was my experience.
I went with my husband Andres that has pancreatic cancer stage IV, we were desperate because his pain. The pain med that the oncologist prescribed wasn't doing anything, we went into an office that try her best to deal with people that is in pain, therefore sometimes aggressive people. The nurse were very calm and efficient, the P.A the same and Dra. Moorthy was very direct, kind and effective. The treatment she prescribed to him reduce my husband pain a lot. She also gave us hope about other treatments that she can use to help him if the things gets worse. Like it wasn't the end of the road for him. I'm very thankful for the whole staff. They make you wait but it is worthy since when you get in, they take the time to help you.

Dr Moorthy is an exceptional doctor! She's not only a genius yet she is beautiful and has bedside manners!! Dr Moorthy is the only physician one needs. She provides a medical office and a surgical center!! Miss Yvonne is her right ?? hand PA. Kim her manager is fulfilling all responsibilities . Miss Gina efficiently runs the surgical center! Worst incompetant receptionist people!!!
04/07/2023 12:00P.M appt. I signed in at 11:45A.M.. Receptionist was on the phone but looked at me signing in. She kept on talking so I took a seat. I was the only person in the room. After awhile more people entered and signed in. I watched as these people one by one were taken to the back . The next thing I know is I get a phone call which I had set on vibrate. I didn't answer it but saw that a message was left. It was from this office telling me that I had an appt. at noon and if I was running late, to call them. I got up and went to her window and told her that I'm not late, but have been here for 30 min. already. She then asked for my I.D. and insurance cards and then handed me 10 or more pages to fill out. I said I could have been doing that for the last 30min. She then called me back to the window and said I have a $25 co-pay. I said I have no co-pay. I have Medicare and Cigna. She insisted and said they would refund me if I was right. I told them this is absurd and I left.

WHAT VISIT? there office staff is horrible. Your going to deal with the public in a medical field then please speak better English. When I have to repeat a 4 letter last name half a dozen times then there is a problem. My phone number was even harder for them to understand. After a patient two weeks of waiting for a return call for an appointment I call back and shocker , I'm not even in there system. I see why your google reviews are so bad.

Waited 2 weeks for Dr. Moorthy to review my medical records. Called several times, left messages, no one returned my call, had to drive over to the office. The manager said my drug screen results were not there. They wanted medical records from my doctor, I gave it to them. No one mentioned drug screen results. When I was trying to look up the results from Quest, the manager practically shoved me out the door. I explained I was looking up the results. End result, calls me a few minutes later to tell me Dr. Moorthy reviewed my records and said she will not see me because she doesn't prescribe pain medication. She gave me a couple other doctors that she said do. I reached one office over the phone the next day who told me, Dr. Moorthy prescribes medication, not them. I called Dr. Moorthy's office back, reached someone else, explained my situation, and she started to make me an appointment. Next thing I hear on the phone is what sounded like the phone being taken away from the desk girl by that "manager" who said so rudely that Dr. Moorthy said no. I calmly asked for Dr. Moorthy's statement in writing. The "manager" continued interrupting me, would only let me get one or two words in, and refused to give me anything in writing "because" I'm "not a patient!" I don't believe Dr. Moorthy reviewed my medical records at all. Sounds like the manager is an angry, disgruntled, and deeply disturbed woman. Don't waste your time at this place. As I was in the waiting room waiting on some type of word, two elderly patients told me the staff never returns calls and they have to get a ride to the office to ask anything. Sad. Unacceptable.

Excellent
Over the last few years I have dealt with both post surgical pain and RA pain. Dr. Moorthy and her PA, Yvonne have always listened carefully and asked intuitive questions, the results being excellent management of my pain. I am so fortunate to be in their care.

Answered prayer
Our 93 year old father was bent over at the waist, barely able to walk even with cane due to severe L4 & L 5 spinal stenosis. This past week, he had flare up with muscle spasms. Tried to get appt. with other recommended Drs. & was offered 4 weeks away!! Jenny, at Dr Moorthy’s listened to us and assured us that she would call next day if she had cancellation or would try to reschedule someone not in acute pain. As promised, she did get our dad in the next day. Dr. Moorthy was kind, compassionate & professional. She listened carefully and recommended epidural. Because of his terrible pain, she worked him in the next day! It’s only been couple of days but dad can straighten up and pain relieved! Our family is so appreciative of their compassionate care!!

I saw Dr. Moorthy about my knee pain an she gave me my 1st injection on the 4th of March. On Sat the 5th I played golf without taking any pain pills. I was fine and played the best I have in months. I have had very little pain and am going for my 2nd injection tomorrow the 11th. I will have a total of 3 injections and then I am considering having my L knee looked at. Thank you Dr. Moorthy

Dr. Moorthy is wonderful but the office workers are not. They forget to order precriptions all the time. I am without now. I DO NOT TAKE PAIN PILLS!!! I take gabapentin and am out now it has been 18 days since I saw her and no precription and they will not return my calls.

I highly recommend Dr. Moorthy. She is a knowledgeable physician who listens carefully to what I say, and has customized an effective treatment plan for me. She is excellent at treating the whole body, and figuring out what medications are necessary and finding substitutes for those that don't work.

Excellent doctor. I have had problems with my back for many years. This doctor took the time to review my studies and examine me. I have had a few procedures and I am 90% better. I no longer have to take pain medications. Thank you Dr Moorthy for giving me my life back!

She is never on time. Waiting most visits up to an hour or more. The lobby is packed, leaving you thinking they are over booked. Her goal is to get you to have injections. Really no interest in healing, just pushing pills and of course the injections, which are $1,200 or more. I have been her patient for over 5 years and were I able to switch to some other doctor who actually has my best interest at heart, I would. Due to pain mgmt laws, I can't switch. Constant turn over of employees.

Although I will give at least good stars, I recommend that you take authority over your own well being and never consent it to anyone. This Dr was always kind to me but there are no healers in western medicine, it is a for profit industry that at the most will treat symptoms of your problem with treatment that has it's own long term negative effects. Find the root cause of you're condition and treat it there,it's the only way you will find healing. Go holistic and find healing :) Beautiful Dr.
