Dr. Preeyanka Nagar, DO

I met Dr Nagar when I was in labor with my twins. She did not believe that I was in labor despite having consistent contractions and insisted on checking me every hour. She said if I did not progress by the next check, that she would have to start me on on induction drugs. Because of these checks, my labor stalled and did not progress because I was under extreme stress of losing the birth experience that I wanted and worked so hard for. Ultimately I declined the drugs and she said without them my babies would not be born for 3 days. She said they needed the hospital bed for other patients so I went home. My daughter was born on my bathroom floor at home 2 hours later. Thankfully her birth went smoothly and both my twins are completely healthy, however, it is not in any thanks to Dr Nagar and Advent Health. I was very disappointed with feeling so unsupported in my choice to have a natural and unmedicated birth. I wish I could have felt supported by my doctors in my birth story.

Dr. Preeyanka Nagar is a caring doctor who listens attentively to my medical concerns. I needed a very painful gynecological test, and she was most kind and caring, but also skilled and effective at performing the procedure. I am very thankful to have found Dr. Nagar to be my doctor. The office staff is also great. They have been very caring and focused in helping me during every visit and call.
