Dr. Priyanka Chaudhry, MD

I have suffered from migraine for 30+ years. When I moved to the Dallas area, Dr. Chaudhry was available through the insurance my husband carries with BSWH. I’ve been seeing Dr. Chaudhry for almost a year. Unfortunately, we’ve had to jump through insurance-related hoops, but we have finally been able to eliminate most of my migraines. The headache center is a very busy office, but the personnel is always kind, compassionate, and willing to spend time with you to take care of whatever your needs are. Dr. Chaudhry is busy, but she is very compassionate and she does listen. She has always made time to listen to my concerns, and I have never felt rushed. Even when I think we may be done with the appointment, if I remember something, I’ll add that on. She never makes me feel like I am impeding on her time. She has provided plentiful information and additional providers to alleviate with immediate migraine. She has willingly worked with me to ensure that I am get the best care possible.

After researching on website for Trigeminal neuralgia , Dr Caudhry was listed as treating this condition more than 98% of her peers. I called to make appointment and they said she does treat patients with this condition. The person on the line was so matter of fact & unconcerned with assisting me. I ask since they are a large clinic if they knew of any other doctors, she said NO in same tone, why can’t staff just have some customer service with compassion, I’m calling because I need help, she was so dry, like it so hard to be kind. Very sad, this happen with medical personnel more often then you think. I believe the medical profession as a whole needs retraining or first time training on compassion.

Dr. Was not kind caring at all. Very abrupt and f to ave very short answers. No real explanation of anything. She said she would send medication but then sent a different one. But even that didn’t get sent. I had to call twice to get it sent to the pharmacy and it took more than a week for that. They were also to check on an injection approval, which is with a different department, and that didn’t get put in either. Had to call on that as well to get put in and for the results. Have seen other providers at that clinic and was not treated poorly at all. I’ve called several times and left messages and haven’t got returned calls quite regularly. Will not be back!

Due to chronic illness, I have seen many, many doctors. A few stand out as exceptional. Dr. Chaudhry is foremost among the best. She is not just a doctor, she is an angel of mercy. She treats her patients with an empathy, attentiveness and responsiveness that is beyond what they can teach in medical school. Some people do their jobs. Others solve the problem. Dr. Chaudhry solves the problem. Visiting doctors and explaining -- and re-explaining -- your medical history can be a real chore when you are in pain. Her office support staff also reflects her attitude and kindness. What a relief to find a doctor like Dr. Chaudhry!

I see Dr. Chaudhry for migraines, but her approach is to treat the whole person. Very refreshing. I never feel rushed and she has an easy/approachable manner.

Dr. Chaudhry exhibited a level of care and concern well above and beyond what I had expected. She took the time to discuss my issues and offered excellent advice to help me control my headaches. In follow-up appointments, her support and encouragement reinforced my confidence in her expertise.

Each time I go to see Dr. Chaudry, she is efficient and thorough. She is the only doctor out of many I've seen about my issue that diagnosed me and is currently treating my rare type of headache. I recommend her to anyone.

I have been working with Dr. Chaudhry for years for my migraines. I went from 11-17 migraines a month to maybe 4 a year. With regular check-ups, we make sure to turn over every stone that might be the source of migraines/pain….hormones, stress, food, smells, allergies, anything. Dr. Chaudhry goes above and beyond when it comes to listening and understanding and wanting to manage, if not eliminate, the discomfort/pain of the migraines. Love her!

Dr. Chaudhry is amazing. She is the only one that has been able to help me with my migraines that I have been suffering with for over 20 years! I drive several hours to see her and it worth it.

Dr. Chaudhry is also compassionate and understanding. She doesn't make you feel like you are alone in your migraine battles. She always is willing to try the newest, latest meds that could potentially help. She does not rush appointments and actually listens to me! I really have made progress with her treatment!

I have had headaches all of my life and have been treated by numerous doctors and neurologists through the years. About eight months ago, Dr. Chaudhry prescribed a medication for a rare type of headache. The medication worked the very first day! I am so grateful to Dr. Chaudhry. Her efforts have changed my life. The painful headaches are gone along with the very debilitating fatigue that I lived with very day. I can’t thank Dr. Chaudhry enough for her persistence and expertise in diagnosing and treating my headaches.

I recently moved to the area and was very worried about finding a new migraine doctor. Dr. Chaudry has exceeded all my expectations and is actually the best neurologist I've ever seen. She listens, she cares, she is thoroughly knowledgeable, and recently she has deftly helped me through a bad bout of migraines. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Our appointsments so far have been on time and once even early, which is so unlike all our other doctors. This is our third neurologist and she has so much more to offer. After almost 6 years, my now adult son is having a reduction in his daily headache pain. We were surprised when she said we had barely tried any oralmedicationsn. Our last neurologist told us to take our son to a three week pain rehab program, which we did and it didn't help. Dr. Chaudhry listened and respected our decisions.

Awesome. Cares for her patient like her family member. Improves my life and I can go back to things I love doing.

Stellar! I recommend Dr. Chaudry without reservation. She has great bed side manners, answered all my questions and made me almost migraine free. I came with daily migraines that disabled me. I am able to function because of her treatments. I have seen dozens of specialists in NYC and across the US and no relief until her. I will travel from anywhere to see her. She fits me in when I'm in town because I commute for work and returns my calls. I love her!
