Dr. Prysca Mbi, MD

I was told if I do not like what she has to say to find another doctor, after yelling at me, she was very condescending towards me, because I disagreed with her. I have seen her for several years. She is very familiar with my family history and my weight trends. With my consistent effort of daily exercise, eating right, dropping 2 sizes I have reached a plateau. She declined modern medicine options for weight management. I would have to wait 6 weeks with a referral from a dietitian, "IF" they approve. She does not have a understanding of struggling with weight, and having 2 parents with diabetic backgrounds, some times when you're doing everything you can, and your doctor is not supportive at all. If I am already applying the Life style of Wellness in my daily routine, why would it be a problem. She never looked at my past patterns, did not pull up my blood records that I just had done. She came in with a bad attituded because I told her nurse, that she should know my history and sometimes exercising and eating right is not enough for some individuals.

I was searching for a new PCP and Dr. Mbi bio stood out to me and I was very impressed with her office, staff and her demeanor. She is an excellent listener and addressed my concerns without making me feel rushed. It was a very positive experience.

She cares about her patients, her care team awesome. I highly recommend.

A doctor that listens and takes the time to understand your concerns. The medical field needs more doctors like Dr.Mbi.

Dr. Mbi has been my Dr. for several years. Never pressed for time, she listens, provides clear feedback to let me know she understands my concerns. Dr. Mbi understands we are more than our presenting problem. She addresses the body and mind as a whole. Ramon, her assistant is kind and concerned with your needs being met.

Dr Mbi is patient, she listens, she cares, and she is very thorough in her assessment. She knows the right labs to check. Her problem solving skills are top notch. I have been dealing with GI issues since 2015. Because of her I found out that I have a dairy allergy. Neither of the GI specialists I saw even checked for that. Ramon, her medical assistant is excellent as well. They are the perfect tag team!I first saw her 2 years ago after moving from Arkansas. Best doctor I have ever had truly. I'm 41 years old. Office is always clean. Easy to get in to an appointment. Follow up with patients are on point. Ramon makes referrals promptly and communicate with you as soon as it's done. They are so good about everything and I will be a patient as long as I am here in Texas:)

No matter if it's a checkup or a sick visit, everyone here is SO nice. Very easy to talk to. Dr.Mbi and Ramon make you feel like you're being listened to, which is very important to me.

Dr. Mbi is AWESOME! She took her time and listened to all my concerns, reviewed my previous labs from my previous doctor and recommended some solutions. She's very detailed and took her time. I'm lucky to have her recommended to me, she's now our family doctor.

Dr Mbi and her assistant (Ramone) are incredible! They saved my life and in spite of a very hectic schedule (the phones would not stop ringing) Dr Mbi made me feel like the only patient in the room. She was attentive, polite and warm. All the while being professional which is not an easy feat to pull off. I am due back in a few weeks and looking forward to it which is not something one says often about going to the Doctor's :)

THE STAFF MEMBER RAMON IS AWESOME AND OVERWORKED. DOCTOR DOES NOT RESPOND BACK IN A TIMELY MANNER. I HAVE WAITED FOR WEEKS AND HAD TO DO A FOLLOW UP CALL. I AM AFRAID THAT IT COULD COST A PATIENT THEIR LIFE. SHE IS A GOOD DOCTOR JUST DON'T HAVE ENOUGH STAFF. Please make sure the correct patient is charted in the correct patient file

I have a 19 yr. Old special needs guy and the doctor as well as other staff were very helpful and understanding. Moving from my child's kid Dr. To this new Dr. Was a great experience.

My visit was for a routine physical. During the physical, Dr Mbi recommended I see a specialist for a particular condition. Because of her busy schedule, she asked that I give her a week grace period to locate a few options for specialists. Within the week, I got a call from her very pleasant staff with 3 recommendations. Turned out that none of these specialists accepted my insurance (I have Medicaid and I thought most doctors take the govt insurance, but they all said no). After my physical and check up with Dr. Mbi, the search for a specialist is my responsibility, but she advised me as to what to do and told me she will keep looking for one for me. I am still seeking the right specialist but every time I call her office, her tone and demeanor is always with kindness and patience. I will never go anywhere else as long as I live in the Dallas area. I have only had the best experience at this office.

Dr. Mbi is very through and attentive. She and her staff are friendly and make sure you are comfortable and understand the procedures they are performing. I highly recommend them.
