Dr. Przemyslaw Kolanko, MD

Dr. Kolanko is simply the best! Mom is almost 95, her hearing is not the best, but Dr. Kolanko treats her with impeccable kindness and concern. He is an active listener who demonstrates genuine empathy and professionalism. We are thankful for his attention to Mom!

Dr. Kolanko actually takes the time to listen to you and responds in detail so that you understand. I was referred to him by my Mom who has seen him for years, as well as other family members, and now my own family.

Dr Kolanko is very caring and listens well. He works with you and what you want to do. Doesn’t push medications for everything. I’ve been seeing him since 2016. The office is also run very well and they respond quickly to your needs.

This is by far the worst provider I have ever come in contact with. I gave a 1 star because given a zero was not an option. I contacted this provider in regard to not feeling well on April 5th, 2023, at around 8:30am. I provided my symptoms and the woman that answered the phone asked me "what did I want her to do" first off If I have exhausted all I could do apparently, I was calling for additional recommendations, when she took my information and said the nurse will call me back. Well at around 4:00ish pm I called back because I had not heard anything from the nurse. I was on hold for 10 minutes before someone picked up and when someone picked up the phone, she placed me on hold for another 25 minutes. I explained that I called early, and the nurse was supposed to call back and I had not heard anything. She stated that the nurse was waiting on the doctor to respond, and the nurse would call back either the next morning or that afternoon. Well of course I did not hear anything. At that point I went onto my chart and reached out again, and someone responded stating that someone will contact me soon. Well, she finally called, and I spoke to her which in turn she stated that she will have to find out from the doctor what to do and she would call back. This was Friday afternoon, well nobody call backed on Friday after noon April 7, 2023. Well, I reached back out again in regard to the conversation and received a response from doctor. He is by far the worst and rudest provider I have ever come across as if he is doing me a favor by being my provider. If I reach out to my doctor for assistance it is his/her responsibility to try and figure out what is going on and what advise he or she can provide instead he want to come and try and educate me on resources and researching. What purpose are you serving me. If I research and use the resources what do anybody you him for. He apologized about what was going on but that just was not going to cut it because of the way he spoke to me in that message did not show that he cared any shape, form or fashion. Tampa General Hospital need to provide him with some type of customer service training, manners and professionalism as well as educating his staff on how to tell the truth and not tell lies. All I can at this point is pray for them all.

Dr. Kolanko is experienced,knowledgeable,and caring. He listens emphatically. I would recommend him to anyone needing medical care.

Follow-up exam. Dr. Kolanko is very thorough, knowledgeable and professional. Have been patient for several years and have recommended to family members.

He’s always professional and attentive and is also willing to work and listen to his patients. I would not change my PCP for anything

I was very pleased with the amount time Dr. Kolanko spent with me reviewing my test results and listening to my concerns.

It was my first visit with Dr. Kolanko. I felt comfortable and at ease right away. I usually don't enjoy visits with Physicians, but I felt like I was in good hands. I may have smiled once or twice (the mask concealed it, though).

1st new patient appointment 9/7/2021. Checked in online. Very helpful. Seen as scheduled. Did not have to wait long in waiting room. Staff very pleasant. Doctor was on time. Very pleasant. Listened to concerns. Answered questions. Not rushed with appointment. Good initial appointment

Dr K (and his MA) is kind and takes time to ask questions and listen thoroughly to this patient. His office is very efficient and I often recommend people try his team.

Dr Kolnko five gold stars. His chair side matter was outstanding. He took the time to answer all of my questions. I did not feel rushed. His staff was also very friendly and very helpful. I strongly recommend him.

Scheduling a timely appointment was difficult (within 2 weeks of calling). Appointment was conducted well, they listened to me, and were quite helpful.

I needed a last minute appt for an EKG due to a mix up at surgeon's office. My surgery w as the next day. I was worked in quickly and Dr K, along with MA Aaron, were kind, understanding, and I'm considering Dr K for my primary going forward. Dr K put me at following the EKG results, since I have had arrhythmia in the past. He was approachable and detailed in going over my medical history. Highly recommended for Dr K.
