Patient
Dr Gandotra performed an angiogram on me a few weeks ago and found a blockage that was hard to get to. I need another high-risk procedure done in the next couple of weeks and have the utmost confidence in his abilities. He is a compassionate doctor who explains everything to you and showed me the problems on the screen and where the blockage was and explained why it was high-risk. I have no symptoms and look forward to him correcting the blockage and adding extra time to my life expectancy. He spends time with his patients and I wish all doctors had his personality.

I went into the hospital with what I thought was indigestion to find out I was having a heart attack (I am 52 y/o female with a cholesterol level of 216 and never smoked a day in my life!). When I went into the catheter lab the aide looked up which dr was going to perform my procedure and when he saw it was “PG”, he said you are in the best possible hands. What was supposed to have been a simple procedure turned into a life threatening event and “PG” was calm and in control the whole time. Before and after the procedure his bedside manner was unlike anything I have ever experienced! A friend works for Northwell corporate and when she told them who I had, they echoed the sentiment!

Seeing as he is 1 if only 4 cardiologists to perform the specialized procedure I need, I was super impressed with how down to earth and empathetic this man was. He took all the time needed to answer my questions and continually asked if I had any more. If only all physicians possessed the same disposition

I met Dr Gandotra when a blood clot ended up in my lung after a knee replacement. His bedside manor and his ability to reassure me that WE were going to be ok has made trust him with anything that comes along. He no doubt cares about everyone under his care and I'd recommend him to anyone looking great cardiologist.

They don't call back with test results. Been 9 days since my echo cardio gram and nobody has called back. I've called twice and nothing. They really are miserable.
