Dr. R Brian Bettencourt, MD

Dr. Bettencourt explained what he was going to do, which was very helpful, and talked to me during the procedure. He was very personable and encouraging. He told me what to expect in the coming days. Although the injection was uncomfortable, I felt assured that it was treating the exact spot it needed to treat. I hope I don’t have to go back for more, but I felt very much at ease with Dr. Bettencourt.

I was very pleased with my visit. Dr Bettencourt examined me and listened to my problem. We discussed it and decided on a treatment. I am much better today.

I encourage readers to put your trust in Dr. Bettencourt. I had some unpleasant hip pain. Dr. Bettencourt gave me and injection. The injection did the trick and thankfully it was painless. I have zero hip pain now. There is a chance it will only last 3 months but it is also possible that it may not come back at all. I am currently going in for physical therapy to strengthen that area. Having the hip pain gone makes it easy to do the exercises that strengthen that area. I wish I would not have waited 2 months to finally go to see Dr. Bettencourt.

Everything was explained and all my questions were answered. The proceedure was quite painful but I was made to feel as comfortable as possible.

Terrible bedside manner. Rushed. He was pompous and arrogant. Spent as little time as possible. Felt completely dismissed.

Dr. Bettencourt is a great doctor with positive attitude and great degree of professionalism. He is very responsive to patients' needs and always finds time in his busy schedule to treat every patient based on this particular person's needs.

Dr. Bettencourt did a previous PRP procedure. It was so successful that I went back for another issue. The entire staff was easy to work with. He is very personable, excellent at what he does, and clearly determined to obtain the best possible outcome for his patient. I'd go back again.

He explained everything clearly without talking down and offered options together with pros and cons of each. He was respectful and supportive of staff, and has a great sense of humor.

Dr. Bettencourt and team were professional and patient. As a healthcare provider, I have full confidence that I had a very skilled procedure performed and therefore the best chance of it helping me. My one piece of constructive feedback would be that phlebotomy is required for this procedure and better “hard draw” processes are needed on site.

Second round of right hip & knee cortisone. Had hslf second twitch during first round hip injection six months ago likely because I was tense…not Dr Bettencourt. Second easy-peasy with no pain.

I saw Dr. Bettencourt for a chronic pain issue at the end of his very long day. He was very friendly, engaged, and committed to sorting it. I am middle-aged and he treated me like the strong, active person I am, not as if my injury does not really matter because I am older. I feel like I am good hands and am hopeful about the potential for a good recovery.

He was very caring in preparing my hand for the cortisol shot. He is also ver relaxed and had a great sense of humor.

Dr. Bettencourt was thorough, pleasant and professional. I felt he listened to my concerns and I left with a treatment plan. I will certainly see him again as needed.

I have seen Dr. Bettencourt for my hip injections. The doc has a great sense of humor, takes his time and explains his work as he goes along. And answers any questions you may have. I would totally recommend Dr. Bettencourt.

My appointment was cancelled for no reason. I took time off work and they said you come back tomorrow.

Dr Bettencourt really knows his knees - or specifically, my knees. His exam was thorough and he gave me new info that will help me stay active without surgery.
