Dr. Rachel Durkalski, DO

She replaced my PCP and did not respond to messages and had a medical assistant respond in her place. There have been 2 separate times I’ve had appointments one that was canceled same day, and the other a week ahead. It was not worth the headache, I left the practice and will be finding a new one as my insurance gives me more options now.

Very attentive to my ongoing medical conditions. Communicates well with me. Always willing to help in any way she can. I would highly recommend Dr. Durkalski as well as the entire staff of Metro Community Family Practice, which is where I see Dr Durkalski. I could not be happier entrusting them with my healthcare. They are a wonderful community asset.

I really like this provider, she is thoughtful and very respectful. However, the clinic that she is at is very very busy, often not even picking up the phone when you call to make an appointment. I recently was in a car accident that resulted in extreme back pain and concussion symptoms and I had a difficult time getting an appointment even though it was after being evaluated by a hospital and needing to follow up within 3 days of the accident, I was unable to do so due to unavailable appointments. When I finally got an appointment, I was running late due to an accident on the highway and even though I arrived at 4:06 pm for a 4 pm visit, the front desk person refused to let me see the provider or even speak to her. Then I received a notice that I was a no-show for my visit. I have been in physical therapy three times a week in order to even stand up without awful back pain and I need to see my PCP in order to return to work, yet I was turned away for something beyond my control.
