Dr. Hobbs is actually fairly good considering she is only a part-time physician (she takes Thursday afternoons and all day Fridays off every week meeting with patients less than 29 hours per week). When she is out of the office, patients are not allowed to leave phone messages. Her front office people can be abrupt & distant & condescending & combative & dysfunctional. Before leaving “care” of this team I asked for a referral to specialist; after waiting for 6 weeks, I gave up—not the first time I experienced this neglect which can play havoc on your care if your insurance requires referrals from your PCP. Dr. Hobbs has a very good bedside manner except when she doesn’t, then she can be cruel and humiliating. She can be inconsiderate of your symptoms & can actually make them worse. Whether intentional or not, it can still feel malicious and uncaring. If she prescribes a medication, you an office appt. is required after first month and when medication needs renewal—probs or not.

Had an embarrassing medical issue (fissure), she acted disgusted and put out that she had to exam me down there. Her course of treatment (a suppository) actually made it worse. She might be great with other medical issues but I wouldn't go if you have a fissure.

She is to get enough time with her. She has limited time. Can only talk about one thing per visit. Usually takes at least a month to see her. Tanner needs to commend her efforts. Her voice mail is to long and is updated every day. Not a good use of time.
