Dr. Rachel Montes, MD

It's hard to explain what happened without giving out medical information. The short version is Dr. Montes gave little information to relieve the seriousness thought to be of the situation, which exasperated things. The prior Dr was on for 3 hours and never even introduced himself. Dr. Montes visited 90 minutes after she came in but only because results of tests taken 4.5 hours prior were being insisted on. She claimed they were very busy however the number of patients arriving was clearly visible from the assigned ER room, That certainly was not the case. At that time she requested one more quick easy test. 90 minutes later the test was still not administered so discharge papers were asked for. She then stated a test done 7 hours prior shouldn't have been signed off on by the first doctor. So frustrating. I truly feel the delay was trying to prove a point to their current claims of being understaffed. It also seemed the 2 Doctors didn't respect each other.
