Dr. Rachel Weselak, MD

I am a nurse of over 20 years. I have worked in a hospital setting with many physicians and after meeting Dr Weselak at my first appointment I immediately could tell that she genuinely cares about people. She has a very sweet personality. She is a very good listener. Each time I thought of something to tell or ask her she stopped the what she was doing( the physical assessment) to listen to what I was saying, answered while making eye contact, and then resumed the assessment. She is very thorough. Based on my symptoms she ordered diagnostic testing to rule out certain conditions instead of giving me an explanation of the possibility of what I could have based on my symptoms and then make an assumption that treatment isn’t necessary as my previous Gyn did. Overall I was totally pleased from how she introduced herself to how she listened with out rushing, and the care and treatment provided. It was evident that she is sincere about providing the best care for her patients.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Weselak at Empire OBGYN and I could not be happier! My previous Dr. I went to for years retired, and I was so nervous to go somewhere new. Everyone working there was super friendly and nice, the place was spacious and clean, easy parking, very short wait time, and I loved the Dr. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Weselak is the most wonderful person ever! She delivered all 3 of my babies. She’s very easy to talk to and super caring. I’m sad she isn’t at a location that takes my insurance.

I am extremely happy to have her as my gynecologists , she is friendly ,caring , she is one of the best doctor i ever met , I highly recommended her .

This is my first pregnancy so when I went into my first appointment I knew nothing about pregnancy or what to expect. Dr Weslak was the first md I received and instantly I told them i wanted her for all of my appointments she is excellent, very friendly, and most importantly helpful

I had been previously seen at center for women at MSMH, but this pregnancy wanted s woman so I chose Dr. Weselak. She was very judgmental and very general. She didn't discuss much with me and would just use doppler to check fetus HR...Every appointment was simply blah and very rushed, no excitement when I left either. I guess I was looking for a more personable experience and I didn't get anything close to it.i would not recommend this OB, I guess unless she were the last on earth!
