Darout was my PCP after I moved back to CT, and my chronic symptoms drove me to seek a new dr after yrs. MyChart was not a thing yet, so I had to take her word that the tests I requested were done, and the results were negative. She then ordered unnecessary tests, such as a bone scan for my pain (not sure how she got insurance to pay; must be her actual specialty). After that, she essentially called me a hypochondriac, and referred me to a psychiatrist for anxiety. When I sought a second opinion, she discharged me from the entire Northeast Medical Group, and I couldn't see anyone for anything in my area. Well, my current PCP from Hartford Healthcare listened when I had a flare, and now I've been diagnosed with MS. It just sucks that it had to get worse before anyone believed what I've been saying, but at least I escaped what's now Yale New Haven.

Dr. Andre (Darout) is an amazing physician. She listens & goes over everything that needs to be done. No judgment & makes me feel comfortable. I don’t feel nervous going in to see my Dr. anymore! Very intelligent Dr. that will explain things very clearly to you also!

Extremly friendly and knowledgeable, very patient and listens to your needs or issues, never rushes thru visit. She doesn't have that uppity dr attitude, very down to earth. I have had many drs and she is the absolute best dr ever. My only worry is , like all the good docs, she will leave !!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Darout for years, and I highly recommend her. She is highly knowledgeable, and has treated me for multiple ailments. She makes me feel comfortable talking about personal issues, including how my medical & mental health is affecting my relationships (which is important as the prescriber of my birth control). She is always aware of what I need done in terms of blood work, shots, and exams, and always reviews my charts from previous appointments and other doctors prior to appointments.

i am writing to report dr Darout, who was even unbale to treat a common tonsil inflammation. I told her i had had such issue for ten years. the reason for coming is my ENT dotcor is on vacation,so the nurse recommanded me to go to the clinic to get the antibiotic. But this DR Darout did not listen to me,and was attempt to send me for the blood test !!After i refused to do that she just let me go. The 10 min waiting and 2 min conversation costs me 221 dollar!so absurd
