Had a recent visit after cutting the top of my foot and Dr. Haning fixed me right up, 9 stitches later! She and the staff were very friendly and caring.

Professional and caring
Even though the waiting room was packed, the doctor did see us promptly. She was polite and and professional and explained everything clearly. I knew that the ER was busy but appreciated that she took the time to examine me well and update me throughout my stay. was very pleased with my encounter at Norman and with this Dr.

Insufficient Care
My family member was recently seen by Dr. Haning at Norman Regional Healthplex. We were first met by Dr. Haning's resident and medical student who both had zero bed side manner. Notified both of them that patient had a head injury and neither of them (nor Dr. Haning) examined the injury at all the entire visit. We had to request the CT. Only time hands were placed on the patient were to listen to lungs and heart which was done by the medical student. It took Dr. Haning nearly 2 hours before she entered the room and we were met with a rather dull introduction. I wish this experience had been different. Maybe it is Dr. Haning or maybe it is the Norman Regional Health System. Regardless, improvements need to be made.
