Dr. Rafael Quinonez, MD

I have accompanied my mom to visit Rafael Quinonez to get her some new hearing aids. This man will waste your time with multiple appointments. Whether if it's to milk the system or something else you wouldn't know because he does not take his time with patients to answer questions. The 3 times we visited he did his check and went right out the door before i can even ask any questions. First appointment was an ear check and a response 'yes she will need hearing aids'. Duh!! she already has some we are here to get new ones. we had to wait to get the next appointment for the test. make sure to follow up because his office wont. The next visit after the test was another time waster. He walked in and said 'ok we'll get her some hearing aids' and started to walk out before i asked to stay for some questions I had. Now we need to wait again for another appointment to finally get the hearing aids. every visit comes with a cost for parking as well.

easily the worst doctor i have ever visited: refused to listen to my relevant medical history, interrupted me constantly as i was describing my symptoms, and gaslit me about potential causes of my condition (he told me 'don't listen to the internet') even though these were peer-reviewed medical journal studies proving my point.absolutely uselesss 15-minute visit, i felt like i was scammed and wish i could get my money back. there are so many better doctors in the ucla and cedars network. avoid at all costs!

He is just a basic ear and nose physician. It is out of his scope for anything more complicated than a runny nose or an earache.

The doctor appears to prioritize revenue over patient care, rushing through appointments and neglecting patient concerns. During my visits, I felt rushed and had insufficient time for questions or proper treatment, even requiring multiple visits for basic procedures like ear cleaning.

Great 1st time experience with Dr. Quinonez. Very through and professional. Thank you!

Dr. Quinonez is the best at what he does. I had 3 ENT’s that weren’t able to solve my condition. I suffered from Eustachian tube disfunction for 3 years with three ENT’s not “knowing” what to do besides trying to talk to me into surgery for the benefit of their pockets in my opinion. Dr. Quinonez was the first ENT who was actually really concerned about my condition and treated my disorder within the first visit without surgery! He’s the best in the field if you ask me. I’m beyond thankful I came across Dr. Quinonez, he’s a doctor who actually cares about his patients, THANK YOU Dr. Quinonez for treating my disorder and changing my life when I had lost hope in avoiding the surgery! :’)

This review is for anyone who understands what it's like to care for an aging loved one. My father is 83, and moves very slowly. We were running late because of it and the receptionist was unforgiving, clearly annoyed and unkind. Dr. Quinonez was just as annoyed and also showed little to no compassion for an elderly person with his subtle sarcasm. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will NEVER subject my father to these people again.

2nd time i have seen this Dr. Both times very good experience. With Covid there is some wait time but no more than other provider i have seen lately. The Doctor was very straight forward and informative. He explained the examination as he was doing it and what he was looking for. Then he gave me some prescriptions and recommended a follow up to see how i progressed.

horrible experience ! His staff is very rude. I will never go back here again ! The doctor will not even get on the phone with you to discuss medical stuff.

Terrible experience all around. The doctor couldn't locate the correct area on my child and he had to show him exactly where it was. Also this doctor will not get on the phone with you no matter what. You are told to wait weeks for an appointment just to speak with him.
