Dr. Raghuram Kolanu, MD

Unable to meet with the MD. I sat in the car for 40 mins waiting to be let into the bldg. The person who let me in the bldg was rude and unprofessional. She made it known that she was the "owner" - which was surprising that she did not have any desire to make me feel welcome, never apologized for the delay and confusion at all. This provides great insight on how this office was able to make an appointment on the same day - never seen a neurologist be able to do so. First impression is not acceptable. If the MD is indeed of quality, many may not know because they cannot make it past the unprofessional receptionist "owner". I am sure that the MD is aware of the lack of professionalism and rudeness. I need to feel comfortable and valued in all aspects of my healthcare.

Doctor would not refill prescription and would not return call from patient or pharmacy. Rude, unprofessional receptionist/front end person. She represents this physician and the care/concern provided for his patients. Would give a negative if it was available. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR.

His office staff is RUDE. They do not return calls. Told me if I didn't want to wait to find another doctor. I will never to go to him!

Terrible. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, THEY DON"T CARE HERE!

I waited for 10 minute just to check-in at the desk because the receptionist was too bust chatting. Afterwards, I waited for almost 1.5 hours to see the doctor. The doctor saw me for barely 10 minutes. He did not address my main complaint, which was insomnia. When I showed him the results of my recent sleep study, he stated "I don't even understand this." He told me to just follow up with a sleep specialist and stated the front desk receptionist would provide a name for me; this did not occur. When explaining my migraine history, he kept cutting me off and questioning if I even had migraines. He then prescribed medicine to me that I told him I never wanted to take over the years for my migraines due to the side effects. He ignored me and prescribed it any way. He did not even properly assess me; he sat at this computer and types, not even providing eye contact. This visit was a waste of time and money; I should not have even paid for this visit.

I was referred to this physician after experiencing a year of pain with no response to non-operative treatments. The office staff (which consists sole of his wife) is rude, and acts like the owns the place. She gets very defensive if you have any questions regarding the physician. In regards to Dr. Kolanu, after hearing my symptoms, he prescribed imaging. I wanted more clarification and understanding of the imaging that was prescribed, and he couldn't provide any more information other than essentially "I'm the doctor and I said so". The whole thing just felt like some kind of scam, and I did not feel confident proceeding any further with this physician. True, I am not a doctor, but I deserve a comprehensive understanding of my diagnostic imaging and the physicians thought process.

I called to get a refill and the female told me that she would not submit it unless I visited the office in 20 minutes and when I began to respond hung up on me. The receptionist is rude and ignorant if you are seeking help for your loved one... DO NOT!! I repeat DO NOT!! chose this practice.

Front office woman in very rude. Acts very irrational and loud. The Dr. Spends maybe 5 minutes with you. Will never return. When I called to cancel my next appointment the front office lady started screaming.

Dr. Kolanu was highly recommended to me by my doctor because I had been experiencing mini-strokes, so I had high regard for him before I went . He was very friendly, caring, and pro-active in running diagnostic tests and getting me to the hospital quickly. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Kolanu was very thorough and caring. Only had a short wait to see him and he treated me like I was the only patient he had. I definitely had the feeling that he was concerned about my problem. I would certainly use him again and refer him. Contrary to other reviews, I had no problem with the receptionist either.

The front desk receptionist was extremely RUDE! I was there with my boyfriend, we signed in at his appointment time and sat in the waiting area for 15 minutes, No one asked for insurance card nor copay. A couple walks in and is acknowledged immediately so I proceed to the front desk to offer his insurance card and copay.. She said okay you've been sitting and? I stated we had waited for 15 minutes, she said, okay so? This is a dr office he's not playing golf then told us to find a new dr.

The front desk lady was VERY rude and VERY unprofessional. She LEFT MY DRIVERS LISCENES AND MY INSURANCE CARD (plus some other patients cards) OUT IN THE OPEN FOR THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF MY APPOINMENT. (which by the way is against HIPPA) When I asked for my cards back the woman told me she had already given them back to me, which was wrong considering i was looking straight at them on her cluttered filled desk. After I physically got my cards back, we left and will never return.
