Dr. Raimundo Acosta, MD

He's busy. He's an excellent doctor. You may have to wait. He's serious, educated, knows a lot, listens, answers questions, explains well without being condescending. I liked his predecessor, Maria Salas, and I am happy with him. The medical care is first rate. His office is well run, phones are answered, staff is competent, upbeat. Highly recommend.

The Dr. is very good, but his assistant on duty seems to be determined not to give me an appointment. Everything comes back! One day she wouldn't let me go because supposedly the referral was wrong, she was wrong, the next appointment she didn't call me to remind me. I explain to him that I have a condition that I need to be checked every 6 months and he gives me a year from now and on top of that the referral expires.

After several visits I think I'm qualified to give five stars for Dr Acosta's excellent work. He really care for his patients in every way. If additional procedures would be necessary he refer you to further check up's and he has access to every possible latest technological care. You feel safe having him as your Cardiologist.

No one answers the phones, or you have to wait an hour, and when you email them THEY NEVER REPLY. Some stupid secretaries like karennever answers anything and immediately trasnfers you to some one else, meaning ANOTHER HOUR TO WAIT.The horrible office workers NEVER CALL YOU BACK when yoo leave messages

I wish there were the availability to give more starts because Dr. Acosta is not only passionate about his profession but also about his patients. There are not enough words to describe this angel on Earth named Dr. Acosta.

I'm a senior citizen and ask staff on copayments base that I'm on a fix income, and front desk clerk told me not to worry about it (never disclosing the co-payment over $300 dollars) ask again on the form for me to sign in ref. on responsibilty to pay any co-payments and againI ask clerk about it and again clerk said to me not to worry about it is a standard procedure but that Dr. would waive it. I have my Uncle and cousing as witnesses to this that when that same day and time with me. Now Two years later I m being threaten to be sued and harrass constantly by an attorney this doctor hired when it was their staff's mistake on giving me false promises. I would never receive any service that I cannot pay and this is shameful specially from a Cardiologist. SO PLEASE MAKE SURE AND DO NOT BELIEVE THE STAFF'S PROMISES SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO THRU WHAT I WHEN THRU A TRUE NIGHTMARE AT MY OLDER AGE. SHAMEFUL AND A REAL DISCRACE!!!! PLEASE BE AWARE GOING TO THIS DOCTOR'S OFFICE PLEASE ! s

From scheduling an appointment to check out the office was run so well. Very refreshing in these days of doctors office not being managed very well, My experience was amazing. Throughout the appointment a couple of diagnostics were run, and a beat wasn't skipped along the way. I comment Dr Acosta and his staff for being such wonderful caregivers.
