Unbelieveably Rude and Incompetent
Dr. Guang is a joke. What kind of health professional talks to the people who give him a paycheck like that? My scans showed abnormalities that he described as mild. I asked him what I could possibly do for all the pain those 'mild' issues were causing. I was polite as I had no reason not to be at that point. He immediately got annoyed by my question and aggressively asked me if I wanted him to poke me with a needle all over. I couldn't believe that I was actually experiencing that kind of treatment for no reason. I remained calm and asked what the root cause of these abnormalities were and he continued with the aggressive sarcasm and yelled out that he didn't know why I was in pain. I asked him to hand me my papers as his behavior was unacceptable. He then rudely shoved my referral papers in front of my face for me to take. This waste of space is taking the place of another physician who could actually be competent and not gladly take insurance money for being a complete imbecile.

Very unprofessional
Schedule initial counsultation he said my back was fractured 2 places and spinal stenosis he prescribed some medication and a follow up. Came in for what I thought was a follow up but evidently was a procedure for a injection in my back. Nurse was not very nice in her speaking why I didn’t know nevertheless I said ok let’s do it. I had 4 medications in my hand that I wanted him to explain to me. I was on antibiotics from a dentist procedure after questioning she said now you have to wait a month I was never given any instructions when scheduling about what not to do. So I asked to speak to doctor about the meds and she he is busy has a lot of patients?? Well he had time for the procedure but couldn’t talk to me. I called to ask about the medication and was told he was a month out for phones but you can speak to his physician assistant. I left 3 messages for the PA but never got a call back. Very unprofessional I am searching for a doctor that cares more about his patients. I won’t g

Callous, arrogant & snarkey
The office staff in Corona & Riverside are cold & rude. The male nurse in Corona was nice. Dr. Rainer gave me a really bad gut feeling. I don't trust him, at all. I asked genuine questions about his medical opinion & is all I got back was a series of snarkey, hostile, non-answers. His comments were judgmental & demeaning. He has no sense of compassion & he seems to be just disgusted with his patients. He gets a strong vote of no confidence! I didn't read the reviews before going in, but I can see exactly what patients who made negative comments were talking about.

Has no Compassion for clients Treats you like an idiot and wants to hold all the power over you with no care about anything else that your struggling with as far as pain. The body is a whole not parts and pieces and to be told to go see a different doctor that will deal with pain from other parts of the body that he full well knows would do no good since he is solely responsible for all medication under contract and it would be a waste of time to go see a doctor that is willing to help but cannot because this guy wants to treat everyone As if they are addicts. And doesn't care about quality of life for people suffering with pain. Staff is no better very cold, pushy and no compassion for people as human beings All they care about is power and money so they can give you steroid shots

More Pain!
Came here looking for help for my pain, instead it added to my worries! First visit met Dr. Rainier Guiang. Shared with him my condition and would like to avoid surgery as much as possible. He showed me my MRI....then to my face told me," I CAN'T HELP YOU!". He did gave me a prescription but I left feeling worried. About six weeks later we have a virtual meeting. This time by the tone of Rainier Guiang's voice and how he was talking to me, I was convince he does not have PEOPLE SKILL. At this meeting I asked him if they received a letter with regards to my condition. His response, " those letters goes straight to my trash can!". What surprised me is how he ended it by saying, "Merry Christmas!" And hung up the phone! I didn't get a schedule for the next appointment nor what's the next step. All I heard from him that day, " I saw your MRI ... it needs surgery!". A few weeks later I got a Text / Email for my next appointment and it's not in Corona and it's in Menifee with a Nurse Practit

I was treated by Dr. Guiang for 1 appointment and I should have read the reviews first. After explaining my history which he did not seem to be listening, we discussed his belief in pain management. After I told him that his personal beliefs should not interfere with his patient care, he basically said that we would not be getting along. He had no personal bed side manner, was rude and uncaring to a patient who has been dealing with chronic pain for over 10 years. I do not recommend this physician as he could care less about someone who has to work full time with Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, and Spinal Stenosis.

I was referred to Dr. Guiang by my regular Doctor for Pain Management last year. I will focus on the care he gave me which has caused me to write this review. I needed an injection in my left hip, directly under my granny underwear waistband (I'm 70 & really disabled). His female assistant was a few feet away. I felt Dr. Guiang pull my underwear down a bit then saying to her "COME LOOK at THIS". It was a tacky tattoo from decades ago. I felt so uncomfortable. Very UNPROFESSIONAL of him.

I've been a patient of Dr. Guiang since 2010 - 7 years - and have nothing but great things to say about say about him. He's a kind, warm, and friendly doctor who always seems to go beyond the call of duty. He always shakes your hand and says hello before beginning an appointment. Dr. Guiang also offers alternative methods for pain management, loans out books, provides lots of handouts on health and wellness, and suggests helpful supplements. He takes a whole-person to approach care.

Dr. G helped me in ways no other doctor has. He looks for the cause of problem rather than just addressing the symptoms of the problem. Because of him I feel so much better and he has improved my health more than even my primary care doctor has. Thank you Dr. G!

Dr. Guiang failed to listen to me explain my signs and symptoms at all, and once he heard fibromyalgia and lupus he basically kicked me out saying he doesn't consider those disorders painful. I felt COMPLETELY discriminated against. Poor treatment with a smug smile. Unbelievable.

Dr accused me of coming to him just to get drugs, especially since a 4-year old MRI of my back didn't show anything to warrant pain meds (his words!! Isn't the first thing they learn that you can't see pain on an x-ray?! I have ha chronic pain for 20+ years, and have multiple conditions that cause pain, and he told me my pain wasn't there?! He also told me EVERY month for 4 months that he could do a procedure very easily in his office to help my back, but never scheduled it!
