Dr. Raja Boutros, MD

I have to say the office staff was extremely friendly, helpful as well as very funny. Dr. Boutros explained everything I was going to experience, giving me a heads up about what may hurt. He was very professional as well as personable and quite funny too. We had an interesting conversation during the total exam. I am shocked of what other's have posted about him or his staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Boutros to anyone needing this type of service.

Long wait times, no office staff on certain days. No one to greet you or answer phones. A camera on the wall. Over an hour wait and no one ever bothered to acknowledge we were even there.

The worst attitude for a so called doctor was rude from the entry was absolutely rude to my girlfriend who cares for me when I have my seizures definitely don’t put your brain on his table.

NO! Seek another dr. Lets get smaller things..receptionist are rude. Wait time is outrageous, calls returned once. Refills alone are difficult, and lies about the hold up. NOW. I was informed he had dropped without any explanation. In hindsight. A BLESSING. I was referred to a specialist and informed I have ALS not what he diagnosed and treated for 3 years. I realize this happens all the time. My anger is I was informed from specialist and nurses it wasnt just me. Several of his new patients were also referred that had been Dr. B patients and also mis diagnosed My disease has no cure. I could of started 2 medicines that can possibly slow down its progression. 3 years ago. Sure im angry. Alot of it is mine is not an isolated case. Its happened to others from this doctor. Why he still is allowed to practice medicine is beyond me. So please seek another doctor, if you know of someone looking for a neurologist, share this. Its a matter of your life. Literally

Only go if you have hours to waste. Left without seeing doctor. I had an 11 am appointment. After waiting 15 minutes and talking with the other patient who had a 10:30 am appt and had not yet been seen I asked when I might be finally seen. I was told maybe an hour or more. I left. Doctors need to respect patient time. I had other things to do. Receptionist said these wait times are normal for this office. UNPROFESSIONAL and does not care about me enough to respect my time.

Best neurologist I ever had - in hospital after 3 strokes to right side of brain from assault I suffered thought at University where I was teaching. My husband really liked him and the Dr spent time with him explaining everything I would be dealing with from the Strokes. Now have a brain disease - and even though 35 miles from where I lived - I checked to see if I could see him - the reception staff said he doesn’t see stroke victims anymore - and wanted every single report I’ve ever had from every doctor I’ve ever seen since strokes - which is impossible. She was so rude and wouldn’t tell me if they took my insurance. Worst person I’ve ever had to deal with and even hung up on me.

Run. Run. Run. Don't go to this doctor. This is one the most unprofessional clinics I have ever seen. 1- The reception staff are very rude and unhelpful. 2- They very rarely answer their phone. When you leave a message they don't return your call even though they say in the message that they will. The most horrible experience I’ve ever had with a Dr. Over an hour wait time and the Dr gave me a total of 7 minuets of his time. Very rude staff! I would not recommend this Dr to anyone.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I am a RN who has worked in a physician’s office, so I know how they should run. This office and physician make you wait over an hour past your appointment time. Am doing the the physician spends less than 5 minutes with the patient.

Dr.Raja Batrous is a wonderful doctor. I enjoyed my visit with him and felt cared for, however the receptionist staff is the most awful I have ever experienced in my life. I switched insurance and had a referral since October 3rd for Dr.Batrous. My primary care doctor faxed it over three times. The receptionist claims she never received it, never one asking me any questions nor caring to help. She claimed "I did not understand" , when actually she did not understand nor did she care.

Dr. Boutros is not the issue. He had some good ideas about my issues. Ideas that were not just pushing pharmaceuticals .My beef is with the staff. He ordered complicated tests. After waiting an age, I left to use the restroom. The woman in the office gave my husband some papers. There were no instructions about prep, what to do or not do, etc. This caused a lot of confusion and trouble. When I didn't know about fasting, what not to eat, and how to do some of the other tests. What chaos.

Waited 90 minutes. This is sis's second visit for early dementia. He was rude 1st visit, after the long wait today said merely that she needed to take her meds and come back.He addressed her daughter and I, and did not ever speak to my sis who is rational but forgets. I asked him whether after we waited 1 1/2 hour that was all he had to say, he said yes. He asked what we wanted. We left. I don't care what the specialty or how brilliant, a doctor with no humanity has no business seeing patients.

Dr. Boutros is a good doctor it's the rest of his staff that makes you feel uncomfortable especially when you call or they called your to remind you of an appointment. They have no people skills.

He is able to diagnose quickly and efficiently, which I can't say about the other 9 specialists and Neurologists that I saw before him. My first visit I brought my records with me (which I always do when seeing a new MD.) He seemed to really appreciate it. The waiting room is nice, but there always seems to one negative person complaining loudly about something, have some respect for others sitting around you. I'm grateful I finally have answer's (and treatment) for my health issues.
