I'm POA for my 88 year old father - he was recommended to this doc by his PCP (Ahmad Shah) and the man/doc is beyond rude -doesn't ask any questions, makes his own assessments and LOVES to run tests and prescribe meds without taking about the risks and benefits associated with his methods. When i asked questions, he disregards - he has a big office staff that is great at making unnecessary appointments and lots of test and there is no way a patient or POA can ever talk to the doctor - the only way you get to see the wizard is to make an appointment to see him. His approach to care is on the extreme side of disrespectful and he is not anyone i would ever want to receive his type of care given he is all about his way or NO WAY. Do not take a loved one for this type of care - he prescribed my dad medications without taking into consideration what his other meds were - my dad had horrible reaction - went to ER - this doctor would not call me back - after multiple attempts - NO go!!

Seems too busy for patients. My mom has been trying to get her prescription refilled but needs the doctors approval, has been faxed over by pharmacy multiple times and no action taken. Many phone calls back and forth with the office but the doctor is never here and can be the only one to approve the prescription. When brought up at visits he browses his iPad to let her know he sees nothing there. So if he going to give her help or not? Can’t another doctor sign off if you aren’t present? Care for your patients if you have too many get help.

Dr. Sharma is an excellent doctor and an equally great human being! He's very knowledge, up on the most recent research, and capable of providing options for best possible treatment no matter the complexity of the patient's situation. Dr. Sharma is genuinely concerned about his patients & takes into account the "whole person" approach to healthcare. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a cardiologist! His office staff are pleasant to work with as well. All around, great experience!
