I liked Dr Chahal. I still do but I think he really dropped the ball when it came to a surgery he did. I ended up not being able to go through with the surgery because I had too much scar tissue. Either him or his crew patched me up and did a terrible job. Only Two of the 5 inch decisions were OK. The other ones didn’t lineup and bulged my insides to the outside. THE HECK?!?!?! I’m pretty sure this is gonna look crap when it’s healed. I also think that after they cut you open, they should spend a little more time to answer questions.

Misleading lack of compassion
Was having some complications from sleeve heart burn and acid this is where she seen dr Chahal after reviewing only 1 endoscopy he immediately recommended my 140 pound fiancé to have a revision to bypass filled her head with the oh I think after this surgery your gonna have a great life no heartburn no acid well fast forward 6 months im dealing with constant stomach pain and burning and can’t gain weight throwing up I have expressed my concerns to dr chahal multiple times he even said under 115 pounds I’m worried well I’m 100 pounds and all he can me is surgically everything is fine That doesn’t explain 6 months later still having heart burn and still having acid the sole reason he recommended the surgery Now when talking to him it’s I’m just a surgeon and recommends her to someone else pretty much washing his hands Every dr we have seen since has asked why he would right from the start recommend surgery 1st Would definitely get a 2nd opinion before trusting his word

Dr. Chahal and the entire staff are compassionate, caring health providers when one is truly most vulnerable. He goes above and beyond in patient care - educating and listening to all concerns. I consider myself very fortunate to have been put under his care for my surgery.
