Dr Mittal is an awesome Dr , when you have an appointment with him he spends alot of time with you, listening and searching cheap options for what he prescibes

Least attentive doctor ever...
My Mother was assigned Dr. Mittal as her hospitalist at Northside Hospital recently. She had a pelvic fracture, and had an episode of passing out prior to being admitted. Dr. Mittal left us waiting 6 hours after being admitted to the ortho floor, without approving even OTC for her pain. She received very little attention her entire stay. I shared my concerns with this doctor the two times I saw him in 5 days I was there with my Mom, and he didn't follow through on anything he agreed to. He had no care for her or for the family relationship, and wouldn't work with me to get to the bottom of her condition. He discharged her after she hadn't had a bowel movement in 5 days, and we are still suffering in rehab because he discharged her without addressing any of her issues or concerns. He is obviously too busy to care, and too busy to work with the family as a team. It's neglect at a level I've never seen before, and I wouldn't trust him with anyone you care about.

I’m 72 yrs young and Dr. Mittal is the best primary/internist doctorI have ever had. I have been his patient for over 10yrs. When I have an appointment, I have his undivided attention and care for my health. He LISTENS! He has been through some tough times with my health and he always has been the best support and fighter for getting me the best care in and out of hospital. He is the best doctor....and I am a tough critic of people!!!
