His office runs smoothly. He is quick, yet thorough, with excellent diagnostic skills.

Dr Garretson is very knowledgeable, listens closely and explains the treatment plan. I left the office very clear on nexts steps.

Dr. Garrettson saw me on time and was very professional and friendly. He discussed my case and options in understandable layman's terms. We will have further discussions after some additional tests. Highly recommended!!

I was seeing Dr. Garrettson for shoulder pain, at first he said it was a strained shoulder, a month later he ordered x-rays and an MRI, then he said it was a frozen shoulder, then after another two months he read the Radiologist report and saw that I had a large amount of torn cartilage, and said I needed surgery, finally after my bloodwork came back he canceled my surgery because my A1C is elevated and this surgery is elective. So, he took months to figure out why I was in so much pain and had limited mobility in my shoulder, and now to correct the extreme pain in my shoulder, the 'elective' surgery, he refuses to do it and wants me to live in pain even longer. Now, to top it all off, I paid a deposit for the surgery, and he is going to keep that for another 30 to 60 days, preventing me from going to another doctor for help. The short version being, after 7 months, I am still in pain and out of a lot of money with no help in sight.I dot NOT recommend this practice at all.

Convinced me that I should not have surgery and should continue with my home remedy which has been effective in the short-term. Also did not recommend surgery for a shoulder problem which has since resolved itself 90% without surgery. I appreciated his conservative approach to my problems and the idea that surgical intervention should be considered as a final resort when all other options have failed.

Very good experience. Dr. Garretson is very thorough, professional and friendly. I feel at ease and comfortable with his care.

The entire office and clinical staff were prompt, efficient, and professional. Dr. Garretson did not keep me waiting, ordered the necessary x-rays, and reviewed the images with me without delay.

The direct and thorough explanation of the problem, I had and what the surgery would do.

Dr. Garretson was professional and direct treating my shoulder issue. Also, I was successful in making him laugh, which isn’t always the case with some of the medical folk. ;-) Heading back in a month for more good times to be had by all.

This was a follow up visit after Physical Therapy ensuring that all the bases have been touched confirming that surgery and expensive, unproductive examinations were not needed.

Dr. Garretson was straight forward during our appointments. He didn’t waste my time. He gave me different options that I could take pertaining to my left shoulder/ rotator cuff. However, I chose surgery in which I had surgery a couple days ago, so I am still healing. However, he was very knowledgeable about my injury and repair options. I would highly recommend him. Knew Dr. Garretson from my fathers shoulder injuries. He is definitely the best I have ever used. Very conscise, clear and to the point on his diagnosis and treatment. Highly recommend this Dr. no need to play around with pain.

He is concerned about the healing and recovery but also how not to reinjure what he fixed.
