Dismissive
I saw this provider in hopes of getting answers to frequent palpitations. Upon reviewing my medical history, he claimed he highly doubted I had half the diagnosis’ that were on my chart. He is very slow to respond to MyChart messages, and doesn’t follow up on ordering imaging.

Warning - Avoid! Inexperienced & Arrogant!
This week I went to see this Dr. with my mother, and I was APPALLED with the care that she received from Raman Sharma. BEFORE he listened to her heart or studied the echocardiogram he concluded she was just “wound really right” and told her the heart concerns where all in her head. I piped in and said, "you know its common for women to be gaslit when they express concern for their health - and, shocker - he dismissed my concern in the most arrogant of ways. He suggested that she “get a therapist” and go on medication such as an anti-depressant because “everyone you know is on something. It’s the people that aren’t on something that are the sickest”. WHAT??! Red Flag! He also refused to order her a stress test because “it’s not needed” even though her primary care physician with 25+ year’s experience thought she should have one. He didn’t ask her anything about her lifestyle. If you live in New York, you have many other options. This person shouldn't be one of them!
