Needs 2 update knowledge of Leukemia treatment
Diagnosed 13 years ago with CLL. Told me at that time, by the time I would need treatment things would be so advanced. 3 years ago when treatment was needed, I was told 2 options were available. Pills at the cost of $15,000 to $20,000 a month for the rest of my life, or 6 monthly treatments of traditional, hair loss, sick as a dog Chemotherapy treatment. Went to Buffalo for a second opinion, 6 monthly treatments of infusion, (first weekend feeling like I had the flu) after that NO down feelings, with the 6 infusions also had a year of pills. 16 months now in remission. After 2nd opinion in Buffalo his office asked me to return for a follow up with him. At that appointment he tried to strong arm me to start treatment BEFORE my return to Buffalo. NEVER went back to him. Glad he is now at Brooks, at least now Dunkirk Fire/Rescue wont need to respond to his 'Infusion Clinic'. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!! Get a 2nd opinion!!!

He is on top of his game. A wonderful, caring, and compassionate gentleman. His skills are excellent. He is up to date on all medical terms and conditions. He takes the time to explain your illness and treatment plan. He not only offers the patient support but meets with family to help all deal with the illness. On call for his patients 24/7. He, as well as his staff are very professional . When one is sick you want the best care. Dr. Sood is the one you want to have as your doctor.
