The staff will not lift a finger...
The staff will not lift a finger to help his patients. My Aunt needed to refill her Oxygen script while the doctor was out of the country for several weeks. The woman who seems to be running his office, (but does not offer her name) would only offer to send him a message – but of course, the doctor is out of the office for several weeks. “Who is covering his patents?” I asked. “I can send him a message” is all she would say. “Is he able to return or act on these messages”… “I can send him a message”. How is that going to get my Aunt the “Oxygen she requires?” “Sir, if you raise your voice, I will have to end this call.” You can guess that my tone was one of astonishment, but my voice was as normal. “You are not solving the problem with a message that won’t be answered until mid-next month.” She hung up the phone. My wife is a nurse-oncologist and was listening to the call - - we are still absolutely amazed. I do hope Dr. El-Yousef reads this.
