Amazing Doctor and office staff
I have been to this office several times and now have had two surgeries. One I had a two level artificial disc replacement in my neck and my second one was a lumbar microdiscecetomy with a barricade implant. He is so friendly, very informative and helpful. I have a lot of issues and never once felt like I was being rushed. Sometimes the office wait times can be long but on the other hand he is taking his time and he is not rushing you!! Him and his assistant Stephanie will dictate right in front of you which I think is wonderful. The staff is all so helpful. If I call or email and I’m not in contact with the correct person they will get me to the correct person. Everyone that I have dealt with has their own responsibilities and if they say they are going to do something they definitely make sure they do!! I won’t think twice about going to another surgeon. I truly felt like I was one of his own family members that he was caring for!!

Excellent Surgeon, Superior Staff, available
I was injured in a truck roll over accident. Ramim Raiszadeh conducted multiple ACDF and restored the feeling to extremities. He performed an ALIF for lower spine buldging and spinal compression. His staff is incredible. They are available via email and phone. His physician assistants are knowledgeable, dependable, caring, compassionate and invaluable to me as a patient. They answered emails on weekends, and evenings after office hours. I have read some of the reviews on this site. Many complain of the wait time to see this brilliant, kind, caring, talented surgeon. The wait time can be longer than some other doctors but would you like to wait for the best doctor in town or get right in to a hack that will harm you right away. Ramim Raiszadeh is the best spinal surgeon in San Diego and worth the extra wait time.

Pros: central office location in Encinitas and the nurses/reception are genuinely nice Cons: very long wait times (2 hours + easy) to see physician for his Encinitas office and not very ethical practice. At first I thought Dr. Raiszadeh was easy going and seemed like he wanted to help my condition (I had a work related injury in my lumbar spine). Once he knows you’re not a surgical candidate however he ignores you and makes it seem like you’re exaggerating symptoms each time he sees you. We’d agreed on modified work conditions to help me return to work but then at the last moment he changed it on my report that was submitted to the Workman’s comp insurance company. To me that’s very dishonest with very poor communication. He also stopped my medications and sent a letter to my insurance carrier to return to work even though I had a slight herniated disk. His excuse was that it wasn’t a significant enough herniated disk and he thought I mentally was making the pain worse and it was al

One of the worst medical offices I've ever been to. The wait times are absolutely horrendous! I've had multiple visits and the wait time was over 2.5 hours each time. Feels like you're livestock at a farm at his office it's so overbooked and overcrowded (even during COVID). The doctor is mediocre, once he knows you are not eligible for further surgery he pretty much does nothing (I'm assuming due to no profit motive). Would not recommend, I wish I had chosen another orthopedic surgeon

The reviews posted make Dr. Raiszadeh sound like a talented surgeon and that may very well be the case, but his office holds 0 integrity and in my experiences he has been a very dishonest doctor. I had several serious issues with his handling of my treatments. 1. His office wait times take forever. I was at his office for over 2 hours each time. Totally unacceptable for people with severe ortho injuries, I felt horrible waiting in his office with severe lumbar injuries. The wait times are always extremely long. 2. He lies in his reports. I had a lumbar injury and his office basically fabricated a bunch of tests and stated I had negative results on all these tests. He never had time to conduct these tests, not sure where he got them from and the workman's comp insurance company is making decisions off this. He also lowered the pain levels I told him I had. Why wouldn't he put the patients personal accounts in the reports and make stuff up. 3. He has 0 time to actually treat you

I would not recommend Dr. Raiszadeh as you’re primary treating physician for Workman’s Comp. Not only is he a poor treating physician but an unethical one as well. He falsified multiple medical records, stopped my medications and treatments, and generally is very biased and aligned with the Workman’s comp insurance carriers. When I was at his office for a routine visit I heard him yelling at an old lady from the next room saying your leg shouldn’t be hurting. These are people who have been injured at the workplace usually due to no fault of their own, have some class. Don’t expect this guy to give you any treatments the only service he’ll do is waste your time and make your life more difficult than it is by falsifying records for the insurance company. Be very careful with this doctor and if you’ve seen his unethical behavior or observed him falsifying records in your case, I’d highly recommend filing a complaint with the Division of Workman’s Comp.

Fantastic doctor but terrible office. Had an appointment at 3:00pm. Was invited into the room at 5:30pm. Wasn’t seen by the doctor until 6:00pm. It’s unfortunate that such a great doctor has such a terrible administrative office that intentionally overbooks.

Wonderful! Simply amazing sums it up best! Not only is Dr. Ramin Raiszadeh a skilled surgeon, he is a caring and kind physician. He makes you feel warm and welcome, he takes the time to listen to your concerns and answers them all in detail. I have recommended many family and friends and they too can't say enough great things about him.

Dr. Raiszadeh is the most amazing Surgeon. He performed an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) on my neck in January 2018. I had delayed having the surgery by other surgeons for almost 10 years. He was the first surgeon that I had confidence in. Within a week I had less pain and more range of motion then I had in over a decade. In April 2018 he did lumbar surgery. Within a week I was able to walk over 3 miles a day without pain. I have referred dozens of people to him already.

Dr. Raiszadeh performed a double fusion on me (L4-L5 & L5-S1) in October 2017. He was everything I hoped a surgeon would be: knowledgeable, extremely skilled and compassionate. I was up walking around in 2 days; by week 4 I was back at work and I'm now walking 3-1/2 miles per day. I have NO pain. I would highly recommend him...in fact, I HAVE recommended him to several people I know with back pain.
