I am a patient of Dr Martinez for 13 years and I wouldn't be where I am without his commitment and professionalism to his patients. He is an exceptional doctor who takes his responsibilities to a great degree. I will always remain under his care and medical guidance.

Horrible first experience, STAY AWAY!
Telehealth
Appointment with Dr. Martinez: throughout the entire process showed a disinterest and disregard for what I was saying, seeming as if he thought I was looking for a “quick fix” he interrupted a minimum of 9 times diagnosing me within 2 minutes of meeting me. said “mood disorder” like I didn’t know this. continually disregarded anything I had to say about my symptoms of adhd. Delt with the inability to focus since a child but tested extremely well many severe symptoms I was able to handle/mask very well. Stuggled with disorganization even while trying my best, extreme procrastination, inability to multitask, restlessness, impulsive decisions, leaving tasks uncomplete, self esteem and impulsive interruption, easily stressed, struggle to remember things or focus at all, having so many continuous thoughts I can’t keep control. Many of these things over looked due to my struggle with anxiety and depression which were more easily noticed. Was diagnosed with high function ADHD 2 days after.

I have been in treatment with Dr. Martinez for over 10 years. He takes care of his patients and has been so helpful in my treatment. I will recommend to any family member, friend or neighbor. His front front desk staff, specially Eliz are always willing to help you when you call to schedule an appointment or any other matter. He talks Spanish as well as English.

Yes absolutely. I’ve been a patient since 1999. He has managed my disorder very well. I live in Lake Placid and Dr. Martinez wonderfully during the COVID pandemic. He is always there when I need him. Trust him and his practice to give my family and I the best care.

Very unprofessional office and providers. They discharged my minor child via a letter to her without notifying me. Wait times are often up to 2 hours for a 5 minute appointment. They forced my minor child's therapist to discharge her without notifying either of us. I would definitely not recommend.

Great doctor! Cares more about patients than most. Will not give you medicines you do not need. Always puts you health first. If you need a doctor who cares, he's the one. I have been seeing him for three or more years. Thank you Dr Martinez for caring.

I specifically told him my depression was caused by my anxiety but he did not listen to me and said i had MDD and prescribed me an SNRI which made my anxiety worse because of the norepinephrine which in turn exacerbated my depression to the point that I was becoming suicidal.
