Excellent and Honest
I've been to Dr Caliva numerous times for foot issues. I have avoided surgery for decades. Dr Caliva explained clearly why surgery in my situation would not be the best route for me. She recommends shoes that are excellent for walking and hiking. I trust her because she, like most doctors, doesn't immediately suggest surgery or meds. She's concerned with her patient's health and well being...a rarity today. And she's very knowledgeable.

AMAZING relief
I get ingrown toenails easily for some reason, it hurts just to walk sometimes. On my first visit, Dr. Caliva was able to remove something like an extra nail growing up around the corner of my big toe. It took a lot of digging, but I was given some sort of topical anesthetic, which worked perfectly allowing her to do what she needed to do. I go there about every 3 months now for a regular trim, and receive expert advice on nail care. I am so glad I found her, in fact, after she first relieved me of my acute big-toe pain, I told her 'I love you'. Of course we all got a laugh, but I am so relieved it isn't funny! Oh, I didn't mention David, he is always cordial and Johnny on the spot helping Dr. Caliva with preparations and scheduling duties as well.
