Dr. Randall Borg, MD

Randall Borg was unprofessional before and during the surgery. I suffer from white coat syndrome and was nervous about the cornea transplant I was going to get. My BP was initially 150 over 87. The nurse said don't worry it will go down (which it did before the surgery). Borg approached me and started asking if I had ever had a heart attack or stroke, although it was in my medical records I had not. He was verbally aggressive. During the surgery I experienced intense pain. I asked for increased medication (as I was instructed to do if I felt pain). I was never given enough medication to reduce the pain. During this time, he expressed another institution where I had surgery used too much pain medications during their procedures. The next day while waiting for a follow up from my surgeon I spoke to the man who had surgery prior to me. He told me the procedure was very painful. He reported the same experience as I had during his surgery.
