Very thorough and caring doctor
Yes, appointments can run long. Sometimes… Not always. He takes his time, explains, gives helpful advice & from what I’ve seen is very thorough. I was there was another patient was having a medical emergency (ambulance called) in the room and the staff apologized, told me he needs to deal with that and then he will start seeing patients again. He’s a smart doctor, very nice and caring. If you want in and out maybe not your place, but my heart depends on a good doctor, so it’s worth my time, hour or three. Also it’s nice to have other tests/screenings available in office. So no having to make other appointments. Had my appointment and he wanted a ultrasound and went straight in to do it.

Never going back
I don’t know if this is the doctor’s issue or his office’s, but they have absolutely zero regard for your time. As I write this, I am an hour into waiting to see the doctor and they don’t even have a room for me. People shouldn’t have to take this long out of their day to check-in with their doctor. This is not a rare occurrence either. Every appointment I’ve ever had here has been at least 3 hours out of my day. I’d say Dr. Suneja is a good cardiologist, but be warned… if you need an appointment, take the entire day off from work.

Arrogant to leave me waiting 2 hours
I have been waiting two hours. No idea if he will show up here. There were only two people ahead of me when I came in I can hear him chitchat in other rooms. This is my first visit. I am going to change insurance so I can get a new doctor. This is ridiculous

The best cardiologist in Katy.
Dr Suneja is my third cardiologist after my bypass a few years ago. My family doctor recommended him and his team, and I struck gold! He is caring, compassionate, reacts to problems straight away and his care is always thorough and complete. I visit him every 6 months, have tests done on site (a big plus), and will honestly say that he improved my health. I have a genetic problem and he quickly did specialists tests and got to the core of my issues. Then, his clinic helped me with a very expensive medication, referred me to a foundation and supported me throughout. I am very grateful to dr Suneja and his excellent team.

Best cardiologists ever!
Best cardiologists ever! I have been a patient with Dr. Suneja for over 20 years. During that time I have received the best compassionate and effective care from him and his associate Dr. Pai! Also his support staff are very pleasant and approachable.

A truly great Doctor and man
I have been a patient of Dr. Suneja for over 20 years and am still alive at 80 because of his knowledge and skills in his field. He has become much more than a doctor, he is a friend. I would strongly recommend to anyone in my family or any friend who needs help. You may need to wait a little as he is compassionate and really willing to listen to your concerns.

I have been seen by doctor Suneja twice over the last six months. I was genuinely impressed with the quality of the service in doctor Suneja's office. The first impression is great. A spacious, tastefully decorated waiting room with enough space for patients not to feel crowded. The check-in process was fast and easy. I was seen by doctor Suneja’s medical assistant within 15 minutes after checking-in - which is pretty amazing considering the reality of most doctor's offices nowadays. Doctor Suneja himself is a very experienced and knowledgeable physician with impeccable bedside manners and very patient friendly personality. My visits were thorough, and all my questions were answered promptly and in the language which I could easily understand. I wholeheartedly would recommend doctor Suneja as a cardiologist of choice in the Katy area and, in fact, in the entire West Houston area as well.

Dr. Suneja takes time with each patient; he understands their medical history and current conditions and is always on top of his patients care and treatment. We are so fortunate to have Dr. Suneja as our physician. You may have to wait when you have an appointment but it's worth the wait because he gives such though attention to each person. We have been patients for about 15-20 years.

In my opinion Dr. Suneja is the best heart specialist in Houston, He saved my life when my cholestrol was 750 and tryglicides over 6000. My pcp missed all this and I was living on borrowed time when I finally decided to see Dr. Suneja. He does not take my medicare health plan so going to change plans this year.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Suneja?
Dr Suneja is a great doctor and I loved going to him. But I always had to wait at least 90 minutes after the scheduled appointment time in order to see him, and it was often two hours or more later than the appointment time. This was every single time and I saw him three times a year for a long time. So I finally had to go elsewhere.

I have been going to Dr. Suneja since 2005. At that time I lived in Katy. I now live 150 miles away but I come back to Dr. Suneja for my cardiac care. Often times it is once a month. Obviously I trust him with my life. This is a Doctor who is up on all the latest medications and procedures. He has no problem sending his patients to another who specializes in an area he does not. He is well respected by his peers and has secured my appointments with other specialist in a very timely manner.
