The moment I arrived by ambulance and I saw Dr. Gehring waiting for me he looked me in my eyes and I knew he had control of my situation. I finally felt safe and I could let it go.

My experience with this man was HORRIBLE. He is the most non caring, non sympathetic, cold man I have ever met. He needs to stay in the OR and away from the patient’s family. Absolutely no bedside manner. If I could give him 0 stars, I would.

Dr. Gehring is highly professional and an outstanding surgeon. He is kind, caring and understanding. I like how he explains everything, answers questions, and shows you your scans, x-rays and MRIs. We are fortunate to have him in Lafayette.

Dr. Gehring and his staff are very caring and compassionate. He explained everything, every step of the way. My surgery went just as he told me it would. He took the time to talk to my husband and I and address all of our concerns. He made a terrifying situation much easier to navigate.

Dr. Gehring is one of the most compassionate doctors I've ever had. He answers all your questions and spends the time with you - you never feel rushed through the system. I'd recommend him to anyone who has neurological problems.

I would recommend this doctor because after your MRI or xrays he shows you the pictures and explains everything and cares about you as a patient not just to make money which is not so common these days, he also talked to me about other procedures to try before having surgery.
