I have been a patient since 2018 and refuse to be seen by another PCP. Dr. Vasquez has cared for my health needs from the common cold to more obscure serious illnesses no one else could diagnose needing surgery or "out of the box" medical knowledge. He keeps up with newer treatments and understands when it's appropriate to use the tried and true. He treats the whole person not just the symptoms. I trust his judgment and his thoroughness. He has no problem telling me how I can better take care of myself and listens with empathy. Again, I will not go anywhere else. He has a patient for life.

Husband's primary care dr moved on, had to find a new one. Husband also began having problems with dizziness. Husband saw Dr Vasquez gave diagnosis of Parkinsons and sent husband to 4 other specialist and numerous tests. Never received a diagnosis of why he is dizzy and never got dizziness under control. Husband would be talking to V, and V would get impatient and cut him off, which irritates my husband a lot. So now what? Keep looking for a new dr, ,one that listens and devotes time to patient.

Dr. Vasquez accepts Medicare patients, which is what brought me to his office in search of a doctor for my elderly mother. I had to put my mom in a drug rehab program because of a previous doctor. Most doctors won’t accept new elderly patients on Medicare because it’s such a hassle. Unless a patient has been with a doctor for years, prior to the Medicare age, doctors aren’t interested in an extra headache for what will most likely be short term. Dr. Vasquez speaks Spanish, so I knew, if necessary, I could mention things to the doctor in a language my mother wouldn’t understand. My mother passed away just 5 years into the Dr. Vasquez years, but during those 5 years, Dr. Vasquez was so kind, caring, and patient. He’s NEVER in a hurry, and he’s always thorough. I think he should specialize in geriatrics. It’s one of his many special gifts. Mother loved Dr. Vasquez. It was a good fit.

I have faith in Dr Vasquez but can not, and will not recommend his nurse and office staff. Thanks to their lack of response to many messages left by me and my mother's home health nurse, Mom is now in hospice.

terrible staff. Was going to have to pay to correct some paperwork they messed up on. Mother has been going there for years and they acted like I was lying when filling out some papers to get VA benefits for her for assisted living. They never did get it corrected Do not recommend them at all after this. They treated us terribly

No proactive or responsive care. Orders tests, but other than personal phone call/message with results (which is nice), there is no follow-up on next course of action. Do not recommend for geriatric care.

Elder Patient in Tulsa – Dec 28, 2018
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Vasquez?
Worst patient care ever! I'd been a patient for over 11yrs, just dropped like trash!!!! All because I'd not physically been seen in a couple of yrs, due to the fact that every time I tried to make an appt (because I was sick and needed care) he always had at least a 2 week wait. Which meant I'd inevitably have to go to an urgent care, pay more to get seen, or risk getting sicker! Doesn't matter he was perfectly fine refilling a script via phone recently! Pathetic in actually caring for patients!

Poor communication skills. Provides test results to you in a timely manner, but does not elaborate as to recommended courses of action (exercise more, drink more fluids, adjust medication, etc), unless specifically queried.
